New Year's Day Memories!

Do not miss this! We had an amazing experience! It's an early morning, but well worth it to see all of the balloons and the pyramids! Wear warm clothes and be sure to bring a scarf/hoodie and gloves. They do sell some at the launch site for a reasonable price. We had 16 people in our basket and out pilot did a great job of turning the balloon often so everyone could take great pics! Our driver, Karim, was excellent, too! The cave breakfast was just ok, but we appreciated being fed so we could enjoy the rest of the stops. Make sure you check out the archaeological site to see the pyramids up close! We will never forget how we spent the first day of 2026!

I wish I could rate it 5 stars but the company Escape Teotihuacan is a SCAM! First, we booked a FULLY private tour as stated upon booking and they told us last minute that it wasn’t. Second, they took us a to a random breakfast restaurant but it wasn’t a buffet as stated in their website. Third, we signed up for professional photos to be taken and was told we could take as many pictures as we want and we can get all copies for $1,500 MX, they sent me 20 pictures only out of 100 or more pictures we took that day and I asked for the rest, still no response!! The tour was supposed to be in English and Spanish, we met with an interpreter but he had to leave after we got off of the balloon and the rest were in Spanish knowing we don’t speak Spanish fluently. The whole trip was ruined!!
