What are people saying about Merida

Perfect Day
Very positive experience. Communication was easy and our guide was very confident throughout the whole process. Little details such as coffee and water really pushed the experience into 5 stars for me. I am very happy to have gone with this tour group.

Our guide Alicia was a star. She was very enthusiastic about all of the places we visited and provided extensive history and details. She was funny and truly passionate about the Yucatan history and people. She shared a lot of information and her tour pace was perfect. We loved the Uxmal tour and the two cenotes we visited. The cenotes are beautiful and refreshing. The lunch was so local, authentic and tasty. It gave us a great feel for the kind and generous traits of the local residents. Alicia was generous with her time and she really wants to share her proud culture with you. We learned a lot. Jamie was a great driver and we felt safe and cared for. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Rosendo is the best
Our tour guide Rosendo was very kind and he is a very good story teller. When he tells the stories about the Maya people, you may really feel that era. Also he was flexible with the changes. Since we were the only one booked the tour it was like private tour for us. Regarding Uxmal, i think it is way much better than Chichen Itza with the feeling and iguanas maybe :)

I had an absolutely incredible time! We visited four cenotes at three different sites and they were gorgeous. We were also lucky enough to have a small group - only four of us. Thank you to the guide and driver for the fantastic experience. Definitely bring a good towel and water shoes. Lunch was ok, but great that everything was included in the price.

things_to_do

Merida is a colorful, playful city with deep roots in Maya culture. Some of Mexico’s best food is here, with cochinita pibil, panuchos, and sopa de lima among them. But many visitors also use the city as a jumping-off point for majestic archeological zones such as Chichen Itza and lesser-known Uxmal and Kabah. Merida tours allow you to do everything even in limited time—go on a food walk, visit the ruins, and dip in a cenote.
