excellent trip , be mindful to read small print as no snorkelling on 9am trip. We saw flying fish and a whole pod of dolphins, sadly no whales, but greta boat, great staff and worth money.

All in all it was a good trip. We booked the celebrity boat as there are less people which was really nice as people do rush to the edge to see the whales/dolphins, so it was less crowded for that. With this booking we should’ve received a welcome drink but we did not. Also be careful about the time you book as the 9am booking does not include the sea swim! The staff were friendly and the boat was nice, we saw a the spouting of a whale and some dolphins.

Nice catamaran trip

We where a little disappointed as we didn’t see any dolphins and only 1 whale. But I guess that can happen if you go see wild life in its natural habitat. The boat trip itself was really nice, we where a small group on the catamaran and had plenty of space to sit or lay. The booking also mentioned a welcome drink that we didn’t get and had to pay for the drinks we bought. We got nice information about the whales and the swimming was also refreshing. All in all a nice experience.

We did the celebrity tour and are so glad we did. The numbers of people on the boat were limited to just 25 however, there were less on the boat. The boat was comfortable, clean and we had a spot on the sunbeds at the front. I have to give a big shout out to all of the staff on board - they were warm, welcoming and gave lots of information about the coast of Madeira and the variety of wildlife. They made the talks fun also and had everyone laughing. Moving on to the highlight of the trip - the dolphin and whale spotting! We saw bottle nose and spotted dolphins. The spotted dolphins were so sociable and we had at one point a group of about 10 chasing our boat. The views were incredible! I know this isn't always guaranteed and we were very lucky but the boat trip itself was worth it this was just an amazing bonus! We also saw a bryte whale very close to the boat which was huge and pumped water high out of it's spout, Overall a once in a lifetime experience that are very grateful for. Thank you to all the staff for making it so memorable ☺️

It was a lovely trip. We were not packed into the boat. Nice number. We saw pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins. The crew were very kind and were very much into their job. They cared about the people on board and the animals of the sea. Wear sunscreen. Even on cloudy day the sun will find a way.

Fun ride, do the swim. We saw a baby dolphin next to its mother. Cute. The water is warm in September and it's easy to float. Wear sunscreen.

The staff were great… friendly and kept us updated through the trip…. We didn’t see any animals but that’s nature for you! They did offer our next trip at just €10 each which I thought was really good!

This is the option to choose! Went last week with my wife and two sons. Normal maximum capacity is 25, which is much better than the (strangely) more popular Magic Dolphin Eco boat with well over 100, but it was just the 4 of us! Great guide (Clavine - hope I got that right) and great spotter and captain on a very comfortable catamaran. Being smaller and quieter, the spotted dolphins came right up to us to swim - fantastic! We got some great photos and especially videos but not posting - you need to go and see them for yourselves 😊

Dear Andy, Thank you for your great feed back. I will tell Clara you spelt her name wrong:)) Yes, we have 3 boats to choose from. Magic Dolphin Celebrity is my favourite one too. But Magic Dolphin Eco is our flagship, it is very comfortable even if it is full. In terms of seeing the animals it is fast Catamaran to rich to wild life quicker. We hope to see you trying out our different boats. Regards Umut

Superb experience. Very comfortable boat in a small group. Adorable staff. We were able to see dolphins twice, our 18-month-old was delighted and so were we!
