Amazing tour but average service

We had a great time through the tour but did feel rushed a few time to get through. Saqqara has so much and is worth spending more time at, Memphis is a single site which may not require so much time.The guide was very knowledgeable as he had been involved with excavations in the past. Note that you will expect to double your costs for tickets for the boat, entry to the tombs if you are not afraid of small place.

Of all the tours I've taken in my life, this walk through history with our guide Fatma S has been absolutely the best. She is extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and shares details you never see in text books or tourist guides. We loved the trip to Giza and Memphis, especially the ride on a camel. I could lean back, close my eyes and imagine traveling with the wise men through the desert to Jerusalem. She took us shopping and to a rug school where the people make hand-knotted rugs, using techniques hundreds of years old. I learned so many things about Egypt and the people there, I can't wait to visit again! Egypt and her people. Can't wait to o back there again!
