This was a very informative and interesting tour. The guide was very good and had excellent knowledge of the places visited and the overall relevant Swiss backland history. The co-ordination of the different travel modes (bus, ferry, train, cable car) was done with Swiss precision.

From our first moment meeting Alexander, he was friendly and welcoming. He took us to many unique and interesting places around the old city center and provided us with a wealth of historical information. I especially appreciated that he paced himself based on our questions and needs. If you want to see beautiful Zurich from a local’s perspective, we highly recommend going on this tour with Alexander.

Our family loved everything about our chocolate walking tour in Zurich. Not only was the chocolate delicious, with a unique item (or items) to taste at each shop, but the history and insights that Vanessa shared about the city of Zurich and Swiss culture were entertaining and invaluable. Definitely a highlight of our European vacation!

Nellie our guide knew so much history about Zurich. I had no idea what to expect but it was the perfect tour for us. We did a private tour so it was just the right pace. Recommend especially if you are not in Zurich for any length of time. FYI-There were a few hills and walking on cobblestones but nothing too strenuous.

It was a wonderful introduction to the city. Our guide pointed out prominent sites & it was just the right amount of information; not overwhelming, but sufficient. His driving ability was superb as it was a very busy time in the city. I think any first-time visitor to Zurich would appreciate this tour.

We cannot say enough about our wonderful day with Viktoriya! She showed us so many highlights of Zurich plus some other sights we were not aware of. She knew the dates and historical details of the many places we visited, which we were not expecting, as that would be something you would normally only get with a tour guide expert. She has a contagious passion for Zurich that makes you, as a tourist, feel fortunate to be a part of. We enjoyed our day very much and highly recommend Viktoriya as a local guide!

My husband and I took the Zurich: Guided Daytrip to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen & Interlaken on April 21, 2026, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was well organized and thoughtfully executed. Our guides, Jean and Renate, were exceptional both knowledgeable and engaging, striking the perfect balance between sharing insights and giving us space to explore. Their energy and professionalism made the day even more enjoyable. A special mention to our driver, Jimmy, who expertly maneuvered the bus through the narrow, winding mountain roads with confidence and ease. His skill made what could have been a nerve-wracking drive feel completely comfortable and safe. Grindelwald was absolutely breathtaking, and the Mount First gondola ride is an absolute must. The views are nothing short of spectacular; easily the most beautiful scenery I have ever experienced. Lauterbrunnen’s valley and waterfalls felt like something out of a postcard, and Interlaken provided the perfect complement to the day. If you’re considering this tour, don’t overthink it, book it. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience some of Switzerland’s most iconic and stunning landscapes in a single day.

Great tour guide - Carsten - a giant personality to match a giant man!! The tour was great - informative along the drives, decent number of breaks. Great views and although you go on three gondolas to get to the top, they all felt safe and secure, even for someone with a fear of heights.
