What are people saying about Vancouver

What a great experience!...
What a great experience! The city tour is nice and informative but I was there for the critters. And we were lucky enough to see lots of wildlife. In addition to adorable seals and their babies, we saw bald Eagle and TWO WHALES!! Markem, the 'whale whisperer', was a fantastic captain and guide. He made it fun and informative, adding music and "donuts" ( not the edible kind!) Well worth it, JUST DO IT !!

While we didn’t see any...
While we didn’t see any orcas, we did see several humpback whales, seals, and sea lions. All of the naturalists on the boat were very knowledgeable and friendly. A major plus is that they offer free coffee and hot chocolate on ship to help keep you warm.

Fabulous Tour! Amanda is the best Guide too!
Taking a tour to Whistler is a must do. The stops at Shannon Falls and the Sea to Sky Gondola rides were fabulous. Beautiful country and clean crisp air. Whistler is a fun, quaint and lovely village. Great restaurants, pubs and shopping. Our guide, Amanda, was personable, knowledgeable and she has a marvelous sense of humor. We really enjoyed our tour Ana Amanda! We highly recommend taking this tour.

Not seeing something you are looking for?

The Strait of Georgia lies between Vancouver and Vancouver Island, and it provides a protected channel for humpback whales, gray whales, and orcas. Boat tours depart from the heart of the city, giving you time to explore scenic Granville Island before setting off for your Vancouver whale watching adventure. If you’re not a fan of boats, choose a seaplane tour instead, which lets you spot whales while enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
