The tour was very...

The tour was very informative & interesting. We got to see it rain on Uluru & got completely wet at the waterfall - it was really cool! The sunset spot with snacks & drinks was very enjoyable, with a terrific view. Our guide (Jesse) was also very up on his outback info and great to talk with. Unfortunately the BBQ Dinner was rained out, but the snacks at sunset were ample.

Long day but well worth...

Long day but well worth it. Very knowledgeable and informative guides. Uluru really does speak for itself though. A spiritual experience and I express my respect to the original custodians of the land. Take a hat, sunscreen, fly net, lots of water and don’t take photos where you are not meant to.

Fabulous day

Very informative & enjoyable. Great day with Andy & Reggi as driver/guides. We probably wouldn’t have found the lovely walk at Kata Tjuṯa if we hadn’t done the tour, nor would we have heard the history information that was shared. This tour was a highlight of our holiday in Ayers Rock Resort, we would do it again.

For the inexperienced on...

For the inexperienced on a Segway you do get a little lesson before you head out. Holly was our tour guide, she was brilliant. Great value for money. Extremely hot on our particular day, holly was constantly reminding us to drink, sunset drinks & nibbles at the end. Thanks holly for an experience we won’t forget !

Beautiful experience

Lovely tour and walk around the base. Excellent speed for all ages and fitness levels with ample stops to tell us about the various parts of the rock and their meaning to the communities. Only negative is that the provided snacks are all sugar based. Some saviour options would also be nice.

Excellent organised tour

Excellent bfast stop around 7.15. Yes, there are toilets upon arrival at the walks ( and on bus if urgent). If you are doing the Rim walk, you sign an indemnity form on the bus that you do have three litres of water with you… and this is checked upon arrival. The alternative creek walk is very nice ( a couple of walkers on the Rim walk did struggle and needed the guides assistance, holding up the group and bus schedule a little bit). When you’ve finished your walks, Kings canyon resort has a very good hotel for food and drinks. On the way back to Yulara, there’s a quick roadside toilet stop and another stop at an impressive cattle station for toilet and snacks. Lovely guides and bus driver. AAT: please update your phone charging ports to suit the newer phones. Coaches are comfortable with plenty of room for backpacks etc…

I, together with three...

I, together with three friends, had the most wonderful experience exploring the Australian Outback, made even more memorable by our fantastic guide, Owen. Despite his self-declared inexperience, Owen handled everything like a seasoned veteran, taking excellent care of all 15 members of the group and ensuring our comfort throughout the journey. The Red Centre is truly an experience not to be missed. I had imagined it to be barren and featureless, but I could not have been more wrong. We were amazed by the spectacular rock formations of Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon, as well as the unique vegetation and landscapes along the way. Even the four- to five-hour drives between destinations were exhilarating. The ever-changing scenery and fascinating geology made the journey itself part of the experience. A wonderful trip, made even better by a great group of fellow travellers and an exceptional guide. Highly recommended!

Segway the FULL base of Uluru

An absolute must-do!

Don’t be put off by the Segway … this is the most enjoyable way to circumnavigate Uluru! If you can step up and down, forward and back, and stand up straight, you’ll nail the Segway! Our tour started with a pickup from our hotel and a short drive to a sunrise viewing spot of Uluru. We enjoyed a light breakfast of hot beverages, juices, muesli and muffins. Although the weather didn’t provide a sunrise, we did witness clouds sitting on top of Uluru which was quite memorable. After a short drive, we arrived near Uluru. After breaking into two small groups, our group walked to Mutitjulu waterhole with Will who was very informative throughout the tour. When we returned from the waterhole, we began our Segway training - each honing our skills on a training track. We then set off with Will on our trip around the rock. Once we mastered the segways, we were able to look around and take in the astounding beauty of our surroundings. We stopped regularly so Will could give us an informative chat about culture, history and geology … even a bit of biology. He was very knowledgeable! From pick up to drop off the tour was around 5 and a half hours. We were a bit disappointed to have to leave the segways behind and hop back on the bus. Overall, this was an absolute highlight and considering we did so much walking on our Uluru holiday, the Segway provided a welcome deviation! A brilliant way to see Uluru!

This was such a perfect way to enjoy the sunset after completing another tour earlier in the same day. Emilia was delightful and we were in good hands with her to enjoy our experience with drinks, photographs, laughs that created a wonderful vibe with the group. Totally recommend if you want something short, sweet and have enough time to get back for your evening's dinner reservations afterwards.

Well worth it

This is a great tour to do. Andy & Celia were great guides and very knowledgeable. You get served a light breakfast which consisted of muesli, cornflakes, banana bread, fruit pots, juice, tea and coffee. After watching the sunrise you have a short walk to the only watering hole then a bus tour around the rock.

Dont miss this one!

The whole tour was wonderful from start to finish. The tour guide Carolyn was fantastic and so knowledgeable. Got picked up at 4:15 am and headed out for the short ride. Was able to walk down to the display to see if up close. Just fascinating and do much color. We came back up to the viewing area for coffee/hot chocolate and a biscuit and sat and watched the sunrise. One of our best tours of the trip! Back at the resort by 6:30am!
