Wonderful experience

Eko, our driver, was wonderful. He was punctual, spoke good English and was a safe driver. He constantly kept in touch with us via Whatsapp. He picked us up on time, took care of the entry tickets, walked us into the temple and introduced us to the guide, Mr. Jono, who then gave us a tour of the prambanan temple. Mr. Jono was very knowledgeable and gave a very detailed explanation about the culture and history of the Prambanan and Sewu temples. After this, Eko picked us up and drove us to see the ramayana ballet. The VIP seats were worth it as they were quite comfortable and were right in the front row. After the show, Eko was waiting for us right outside and hence was easy to find. We had a wonderful experience.

Amazing

This was a great tour. Borobudur was amazing and, despite the clouds, we were lucky to see the sunrise from inside the temple. Not so lucky with Mt Merapi which was completely obscured by clouds, but still an enjoyable jeep ride. Very sad to see the destruction from the eruptions. Prambanan temple was equally spectacular as Borobudur. Atok, our driver and guide was awesome. His explanations were detailed, he spoke very good english and he presented various aspects related to day-to-day life, besides information related to the places we saw. His explanations at Prambanan were very detailed and entertaining. At the end, he also made a stop at Plaosan temple (it was under renovations, but we had a good look from outside). We highly recommend this tour and Atok, one of the best tour guides we ever had!

Great trip with perfect service

Our day with Ridwan was excellent, and a real highlight of our trip to Indonesia. Ridwan arrived promptly and was very pleasant and communicative throughout, and kindly offered to take photos for us at both sites. He took us exactly where we needed to go and made sure we always knew where to meet him. He took us to a lovely lunch spot near Prambanan overlooking rice paddies. Both Borabudur and Prambanan were incredible sites to see. We highly recommend!

A wonderful way to grasp the wonders around Yogyakarta

The tour is well designed, so in a long and exhausting journey you can see the sunrise over Barabudur, visit the temple, get your brunch (you will need it), have an amazing experience at Merapi volcano and finish your day visiting the Prambanan temples. The guido, Seta, was absolute amazing, he adapted to our suggestions, made some improvements that added a lot of value to the tour and, on top of that, was extremely nice and friendly. We had very interesting conversations, and we got to know a lot about Indonesian traditions thanks to him.

A very nice day!

The Prambanan temple fully met our expectations, but we were very surprised by the ballet, which was world-class, both in terms of dancers' talent, as well as by the spectacular staging. We were very happy to be accompanied by Bima, who paced the visit to our rythm and provided seamless transition between activities, as well as excellent and safe driving and great advice. Overall, a day we will remember fondly for a long time.

Comfortable car with working aircon. Limited pick up groups so not too much time waiting to start or finish. Official groups also small so easy to hear guides. Our driver Teguh was great and gave some great information and insight in-between the official tours. Would recommend to solo, couple, or family.

Amazing Desa-Living

Deep into the desas outside of Jogjakarta, we walked amidst the Selogriyo terraced padi fields to reach the temple. We get to see how the villagers live, amidst their daily activities. Stopped for drinks and snacks of home-grown/roasted coffee, boiled cassavas and fried bananas at a kiosk overlooking the valley of pagi fields was really amazing.

Well organised, and worth the big drives!

Amazing trip! Well organised, good communication before leaving. It’s a BIG journey, so be prepared for a lot of time in the van, but worth it if you’ve only got a short time. Bromo hike was the highlight and I loved that we did it the opposite way of most tours so had the place to ourselves at time (sunrise on the rim, the viewpoint after) The accommodation for Ijen was outstanding, food just kept coming, and the guides were energetic and prioritised our safety. Highly recommend!!

We booked this tour as we wanted to have a stress-free visit of the two main temples and the volcano and I must say this was a great tour! The organization was perfect and everything in the day went smoothly, we did not have to worry about anything apart from enjoying the activities. Our driver was Fajar and we had a really fun time together! He was really friendly and we spoke about Indonesian culture, knowledge and life in general, great atmosphere to make the rides pass by faster! Fajar was perfectly on time and made sure all was clear for us at the temples, accompanying us to the temple guides and getting us in practical meet-up points. He also brought several water bottles and was open to make various stops if we needed to. We really had a great time. Highly recommended!!
