What are people saying about Tokyo

Best tour out there
This is so much better than some of the other food tours out there (like the Shinjuku one). Great local eateries and food without getting lost in the tourist shuffle. This is the second time I have done this particular tour (after trying some of the other ones).

Hakone & Mount Fuji
We had the most amazing day exploring Mount Fuji and Hakone, and Jack was truly the highlight of our experience. From start to finish, he was absolutely exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible day.
Jack was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He didn’t just take us to the sights; he made the entire experience special. He knew all the best photo spots, helping us capture some incredible memories and beautiful pictures that we will treasure forever—-even with a rainy day! His local knowledge and thoughtful recommendations made such a difference, especially when it came to finding great food and experiencing more of what Japan has to offer.
What really set Jack apart was how incredibly helpful he was, even beyond the tour itself. He took the time to help us with train information and directions, making sure we felt confident getting around. That extra level of care and kindness meant so much to us. He genuinely went the extra mile, and it was clear that his priority was making sure we had a fantastic experience.
Visiting Mount Fuji and Hakone was already something special, but having Jack as our guide made it even more memorable. He made everything feel effortless, enjoyable, and stress-free, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy every moment.
If you’re considering a trip to Mount Fuji and Hakone, we cannot recommend Jack highly enough. He deserves every bit of praise he receives, and we would give him ten stars if we could!
Thank you, Jack, for such a wonderful day, for all your thoughtful recommendations, and for going above and beyond to help us. You made our Japan trip that much more special, and we are so grateful to have had you as our guide! 🇯🇵❤️

A Unique Way to Discover Tokyo's Hidden Gems with an Exceptional Guide
As a solo traveller, I love doing bike tours in countries I've never visited, so when I came across this tour, I booked it five months in advance because the itinerary looked so interesting.
It ended up being one of my favourite days in Tokyo!
The tour is incredibly well planned and thought out, with regular stops and plenty of time to take everything in without ever feeling rushed. There was so much to see along the way! Some of my many highlights included discovering hidden shrines tucked away in quiet neighbourhoods known only to locals, noticing the little details of everyday life for Tokyoites, exploring the beautiful grounds of Meiji Jingu, and being absolutely wowed by the panoramic views from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. One moment you're cycling through peaceful residential streets, and the next you're riding through the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ginza. The contrast between the different sides of Tokyo was genuinely exhilarating, offering such a unique and intimate way to experience the city!
And then there's Gaku! He's incredibly knowledgeable and had the answer to all my questions, even the most random ones! He was so welcoming, thoughtful and patient — I never once felt rushed or like I had to hurry. He's also really funny and a fantastic photographer! It's clear he genuinely cares about his guests and wants them to get the most out of the experience.
Whether you're travelling solo or with friends, book it — you won't regret it!

We had a wonderful guide....
We had a wonderful guide. She was so informative and happy and enjoyable. The tour was well planned. Enjoyed it very much. Imichko was fabulous. Very knowledgeable at the end of the trip she gave us a printout of Japanese words to help us in our journey in Japan. The best Tours person I have ever had.

Get out of the city and be one with nature
The tour was a fantastic experience. Leaving the hustle and bustle of the city and heading into the countryside was a fantastic way to spend the day. Nikko was full of so much history and culture and the Keagon Falls were spectacular. Our guide, Peru, was fantastic and was able to communicate in so many different languages and provided recommendations throughout the day.

Great Family Trip
We are traveling with a 9, 5 and 1 year old. This trip got us out of the city to see the countryside. Our guide Omar was fantastic as he was so accommodating and great with the kids. We were usually the last ones to get back on the bus and we made sure that we always felt that there was no rush while also keeping everyone on schedule. Of all the countries we’ve been through on tours, Omar is one of the best. We saw plenty of worthwhile sites and enjoyed the hikes along the way.

Wonderful tour of a beautiful city!
We had a wonderful visit with Mark's plan for us! We saw parts of Japan we never would have seen without his help. We loved our visit to the Mejei Shrine, Takeshita Street, Shibuya/crossing, the Fish Market....and we ended a lovely day at Gyoen National Garden. Mark was very knowledgeable and patient with us; he helped us with pictures, and also saw us struggling with chopsticks and ran and got us some forks, lol! :-) He is energetic and knew exactly where to bring us and the best spots to see! He also helped us navigate the trains, something we had not been able to figure out, lol. We highly recommend Mark and Viator for this wonderful tour!

For the best photos in years
Our guide was not only great at knowing the area and the places that were best to shoot - he could tell each of the three of us that were in the group how to improve where we were - and we were all really different. We went to several different places in Shinjuku and Shibuya that were good for getting some great photos (and I wouldn’t have ever found), picking up the energy of the place, and turning it into a good photo that reflects what the place is like. It was one of the nicest tours I have been on.

A must have after a long travel day
This was such a great experience! Our flight came in delayed and the immigration lines were a bit longer, and our driver was so patient. We were communicating via WhatsApp, even before we got on our flight there. He picked us up right outside of the immigration area. Super comfortable car and smooth ride to our hotel. I can’t recommend this service enough. It’s perfect after a long travel day.

Awesome tour, great value
First, I’d like to recognize and recommend our tour guide, Nozomi, for her outstanding performance, great customer service and her deep knowledge of the subject. Our visit to Nikko and the World Heritage sites will leave in our memories and our hearts an indelible impression forever.

Bob was brilliant
We did the walking tour early in our visit to Tokyo. Our guide was Bob who was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable throughout and showed us many interesting places away from the hustle and bustle of a lot of the city that we would never have found ourselves. We never felt rushed between places and Bob allowed us to stop, shop and even snack as we wanted. We all really enjoyed the afternoon and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wished to explore a little more of the "real" Tokyo.

Make sure you go - go karting in tokyo
Make sure you bring some change with you (cold drinks at the vending machine, sunscreen and a tye-able hat. Marky was our guide and we had a lot of fun whipping through the city. He took a bunch of pictures for us and we got to view some cools spots around Tokyo! I was a little nervous as I have never driven in a foreign country but Marky and Jordan made me feel comfortable within the first 5 minutes!
