Wonderful stories that aren’t movie fiction!
Tom was a fantastic story teller & great fun to be with. We were very happy to see that San Antonio is finally making the Alamo plaza a truly memorable, historic site & museum, and Tom’s detailed narrative really brought the history to life. We also toured the Cathedral and two more missions that, along with the Alamo, form a UNESCO World Heritage Site. My only disappointment is that we didn’t get to San Juan Capistrano or to Mission Espeda & the Espeda Aqueduct, which are both listed in the detailed itinerary. Looking again, I see that the tour is titled “Missions Only or City and Missions,” but when one clicks for itinerary details, only the 5 missions are described. I didn’t find any option to select which version to book, but maybe that was my mistake. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed Tom and would highly recommend requesting him when you book.

Best tour in San Antonio
Our guide, Tom, who worked in the National Park Service at the Missions as an archaeologist, was most knowledgeable and thorough with his presentation. Welcomed all questions. The newer van was spotless! Tom, thanks for the cemetery visit as a sidebar into the Hispanic culture.

Well worth it with Nancy!
We had a wonderful tour with Nancy, who was professional, nice, and exceptionally knowledgeable! We started our tour at the Alamo, where Nancy told us smaller stories about the site and battle, and next moved to the Tower of the Americas. We next went to Mission and afterward stopped at a local hotspot for thirst quenching aqua frescas. Lastly, we were dropped off for a river walk boat tour. Nancy was great with the children as well. I highly recommend this tour for all!

Excellent way to learn...
Excellent way to learn the history of the city and surrounding area. We now know our way around and can plan the rest of our stay better. Domingo was an excellent guide and very helpful with my husband’s wheelchair so he could fully enjoy the stops we made

Alfred is the best tour guide!
We thouroughly enjoyed our tour with Alfred. We booked the tour for the first night in San Antonio and it really helped us decide what we needed to revisit or check out on our own. Alfred was very knowledgeable and had great fun facts about everything we did. Great personality and very nice friendly man. Would definitely reccommend!

Fantastic Sunset and Amazing Dolphins!
I would definitely recommend this trip and will try to book it again next time we are in SPI.
The crew was amazing! So helpful and funny and kind. They helped us with making sure we were happy and our grandkids were too. The captain found so many dolphins and got close enough that they came toward us and put on a show.
NOTES: Bring water and/or snacks! You can get drinks right before you board but you will be glad you have something to drink and what they have on board is limited.
Try to find a place with some breeze if it's hot and you will be very comfortable. The views are great from almost anywhere on the boat and you can wander around some but if the sea is rougher, you will likely want to limit the walking.

Great tour, great service!
Kenny was such a great guide! We had the most amazing tour and are so glad we booked this trip to Fort Worth and the stockyards. Kenny had so much knowledge about the sites and history, was so attentive and an all round kind, and wonderful man. I would recommend this day trip to anyone.

Great!
First trip into DFW area and was in town for a conference. Booked this trip with a few coworkers and got a ton of history into Dallas, from the start of it all to present day. Was perfect amount of time without being overloaded with information. Tour guide was personable and really in depth with the information.

My sister and I had a great time on the trolley. We learned so much information about Fredericksburg, the history of the town and some of the prominent people from the past. Our guide, Dave Shafer, was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. #OAGAAG

It’s an in depth tour...
It’s an in depth tour with a very knowledgeable guide. The heat in Texas can be tough if you want to walk all the missions but there is ample indoor cool space to get a break. Overall a very good experience. The last stop could have been a little shorter as it’s only a single church building not a full mission complex. Very good and knowledgeable tour guide.

Spring break get away!
The bus/shuttle drivers were very friendly and easy going. Everything was organized and I didnt have to worry about any details. The wine tastings were fabulous with very knowledgeable leaders. There was a little too much down time between wine tastings, I would have loved to have a glass when we were traveling between tastings but maybe we could have (i didnt ask though).
