It’s an in depth tour with a very knowledgeable guide. The heat in Texas can be tough if you want to walk all the missions but there is ample indoor cool space to get a break. Overall a very good experience. The last stop could have been a little shorter as it’s only a single church building not a full mission complex. Very good and knowledgeable tour guide.

If you are looking for a deep dive into history without having to spend weeks reading through dozens of books, Dan is your person. He has done all the heavy lifting and research, presenting the information in such an engaging, expert way that we felt like we were reliving the journey ourselves. What truly set this tour apart was the depth of the narrative. Dan didn't just cover the events of the day; he provided crucial context regarding the political climate of the era, the Bay of Pigs, and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He also went above and beyond by driving us the entire route Lee Harvey Oswald took after leaving the Book Depository—tracing his path home, the encounter with Officer J.D. Tippit, his movements through the Texas Theatre area, and his eventual arrest. Dan was a master storyteller and a true historian. He was patient, answered all of our questions, and provided a comprehensive experience that was well worth every penny. We booked this through Viator and couldn't be happier with the choice. If you are visiting Dallas and want to truly understand this pivotal moment in American history, I highly recommend booking a tour with Dan. Further, the van was new, clean and comfortably cooled.

This was a great place to start any experience in Waco. The tour guide not only gave you the highlights of the town, but shared the things not to miss. Had we taken the tour at the end, we would have missed them. So definitely take this tour at the beginning. And thank you to the guide who so graciously shared her insights with us!! We took notes on our phones and went back to visit many of the things she shared with us! We felt we had the inside scoop on things to do in Waco because of this tour!

The bus/shuttle drivers were very friendly and easy going. Everything was organized and I didnt have to worry about any details. The wine tastings were fabulous with very knowledgeable leaders. There was a little too much down time between wine tastings, I would have loved to have a glass when we were traveling between tastings but maybe we could have (i didnt ask though).

Dan was entertaining, personable and knowledgeable. He spoke clearly and at a good pace, considerate of the age range of our group. We all appreciated the photos he showed us from his iPad to help us visualize the times and historical figures. He took time to ask us about our country’s history too which was appreciated. Our Fort Worth tour was outstanding from start to finish. The guide was very knowledgeable, shared so many interesting stories about the city and Stockyards, and kept the whole experience fun and engaging for everyone in our group. We saw places we never would have found on our own, had plenty of time for photos and questions, and felt well taken care of the entire time.
