A wonderful tour!
We had a wonderful day with Tony. He was a wonderful tour guide and was very knowledgeable, patient, humorous and kind. He took care of our small group really well and took us to all the places mentioned in the itinerary and gave us the history behind each place, provided us the opportunity to soak our feet in a hot spring, booked tables for us at a restaurant in a greenhouse and helped us order our food. We started with a scenic drive to a national park and saw beautiful grasslands and water buffalo. We also saw volcanic landscape and fumaroles. We visited a hot spring and were able to soak our feet. We didn't bring towels and Tony provided us with drive paper towels to dry out feet with. We visited Beitou Thermal Valley as well as the museum. We took pictures of the Beitou library from the outside but didn't go inside. Our driver was also nice and did a great job driving up the mountain and back down into town. The meeting and drop-off place was also easy and convenient to find, with staff from the company waiting there early. Overall, this was a wonderful and well-organized tour. Highly recommend! Thank you to Tony for a wonderful day exploring and learning about Taiwan.

Do this tour if you love tea
Because I love tea, I found this tour to be very interesting. Loved the gondola ride up the mountain. My guide Bill explained in detail about the history of Taiwanese tea and the varieties. After watching a short video about the teas we went to Taiwan Tea Promotion Center. We sampled several varieties of tea grown by the wife of a tea farmer. Bill made sure that I got to see all of the viewpoints of 1,000 lakes area and pointed out the tea fields. I highly recommend this tour. Ask for Bill as your tour guide.

Great tour guide!!
James was a very nice and accommodating tour guide. We visited all the spots and James was good at accommodating our flexible schedule and itinerary since I was traveling w my elderly mother. He will accomodate you and ask your preferences on where you want to visit in the 1/2 day tour and he also will give you great recommendations on where to eat. I would use James again for a future tour.

Our tea tour and tasting...
Our tea tour and tasting was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, James, was fantastic. He shared lots of interesting and educational information about the history of tea, and his enthusiasm made every stop engaging. We came away knowing so much more than we expected.
The views of Thousand Island Lake were simply amazing. The scenery alone made the tour worth it, and we took more photos than we can count.
The tea tasting at the end was the perfect finish: delicious, fun, and a great way to put everything we'd learned into practice.
We highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves tea, history, or beautiful scenery. Thank you, James, for such a memorable experience!

A fun way to experience the beauty of Taiwan!
The trip was great! We were picked up from our hotel and met up with the rest of the group on Monday morning. There were about 28 people in our group and our guide Ciao and driver Eason did a fantastic job of showing us around the entire island and navigating winding and mountainous roads. It's a great opportunity to see different regions of Taiwan beyond Taipei. There are some days that involve walking uphill but there are always alternative options. The lodging is great. Recommend bringing some cash but most hotels and convenience stores have ATMs.

Highly recommend!
Eva was absolutely fantastic! We did the Hidden Gems tour of Taipei with her, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. She took my partner and me to places we never would have discovered on our own, and there’s no way we could have experienced so much in the limited time we had in Taipei.
One of the surprises was the tea tasting. I honestly didn’t think it was something I would be that interested in, but I’m so glad we did it — it was such a unique and memorable experience.
Eva was warm, knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire day feel personal rather than like a typical tour. She really gave us a chance to experience a side of Taipei we otherwise would have missed. She also gave us recommendations for other places to see and places to eat while we are here on our short stay in Taipei.
I highly recommend this tour, and if you have the opportunity to do it with Eva, even better. I truly couldn’t recommend her more!

I had a great experience...
I had a great experience with YOLO.
Aaron was very helpful, on time and considering. He was on time, well communicated and friendly. I feel comfortable and safe as a solo traveler. It was well worth since I only have 6-8 hrs transit so private tour was the best option. Would definitely recommend!

Exceptional and delicious learning experience
What an extraordinary experience it was to learn all about the art of making xia long bao, niu rou mien, and boba cha. The cooking studio was very professional, well laid out and impeccably clean. We made our soup dumpling dough from scratch and learned the right techniques for filling and folding them close. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this experience to all, young and old, families and singles.

Flexible and will accommodate you layover duration. MADE MY SOLO LAYOVER STRESS FREE.
I was traveling alone on a tight layover, and my guide, Jack Chou made everything smooth and stress‑free. He arrived right on time, brought me to the Longshan Temple and Chiang Kai Shek memorial, Taipei 101 area and took me to my requested restaurant --Din Tai Fung where he even used an app to skip the wait. He showed me a proper way to eat dumplings. I felt safe and looked after the entire time. He made sure I got back to the airport with time to spare. Truly the perfect layover experience. Thank you so much Jack Chou, because of you, I learned so much about Taiwan History, Food and Culture and will be reading more about it.

A Great Day Trip
If I could give higher rating than the full score, I would rate this 120-150%. Felix - the tour guide and driver - speaks both English and Mandarin. He’s like an elder brother taking care of everyone and accommodating additional stops as much as he could. We had 6 people in the tour group coming from different countries, which is just nice. We ended up with extra adventures to experience the traditional railway Bento at Fen Qi Hu (奋起湖) and tea tasting in a tea farm in the mountains. Everyone in the group enjoyed the trip very much and we appreciated Felix’s effort of making this trip so worthwhile. It was really a fun day!

Excellent tour with great food at Shilin night market!
Charlotte was a wonderful guide, she took us around the Shilin night market and we had all the food we’d been interested in trying (even stinky tofu which was way better than expected!). We also talked a lot about life in Taiwan and she shared her own favorites and perspectives which was great. She also gave us lots of options to customize, so really anyone would be able to enjoy. Highly recommend this tour!
