David was an outstanding guide for our Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle tour. He was flexible with our group’s pace, clearly knew the history inside and out, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of both stops. He made the drive between sites just as enjoyable as the cave and castle themselves, sharing context and stories along the way rather than just shuttling us between stops. If you’re booking this tour, ask for David, he elevated the whole experience

The Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle - Small Group Tour from Trieste
The Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle - Small Group Tour from Trieste was even better than we imagined! The Predjama Castle was absolutely incredible—built right against the wall, it’s a sight to behold. There were lots of stairs to climb, but we loved the architecture. The Postojna Cave was truly spectacular.
Stephan, our driver, was so friendly and shared his knowledge of the region with our group.

Great Experience
Really beautiful sights. Lake Bled is icredibly beautiful, calm and clean.
Motorboats aren't allowed so it’s a real win! Our guide Jan was awesome, i like Slovenian humour, really down to earth. He shared lots of information and had a very good knowledge on tour related topics. Thank you Jan for the awesome tour!

Wonderful tour. The caves...
Wonderful tour. The caves are amazing to see (just remember warm clothes). Rachel provided excellent commentary during the journey to/from the caves with interesting insights into the local area and local history. Everything seemed very well organised and we were met at the cruise terminal. Very safe & modern coach driven by Peter. Definitely recommend.

Caves are worth the time
Almost missed this tour and booked last minute on my port day, and was absolutely worth it. Of all the places on my 7-day cruise trip, this was best and well explained by Yannis.

Experience great, logistics not as great.
The cave experience itself was fantastic. The wait before even getting in line to get on the train was frustrating. We left the port at 10 am and returned at 4:30. We were able to go into the castle immediately. The guide told us the drive to the cave would be a half hour. It was really 45 minutes and, when we got there, we had an hour wait before we could get in line for the train. We waited in the train line an additional 20 minutes.

Would do it again!
Mario was such a pleasure to travel with. Quick and to the point and showed us the best spots to eat, rest, and visit!

Predjama Castle and postonja Caves
A must to do in Slovenia. Fabulous Predjama castle built into a cave and probably the biggest caves in the world at Postojna

I had an absolutely unforgettable experience visiting Postojna Cave in Slovenia. The cave itself is breathtaking, with massive stalactites and hidden chambers. The highlight was definitely the train tour—such a front-row seat to the cave’s magic. We did book a private small group tour, but unfortunately, it ended up being a large bus with a lot of cruise passengers, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the cave itself and the guide were phenomenal—it’s a must-see in Slovenia!

Slovenia Tour : Primož is the Goat (greatest of all time)
Our guide Primož was the absolute best! He was not just punctual and friendly but he was full of history, funny stories and so likeable by our whole group. He went above and beyond any of our expectations. He even brought us to 1,000 year old castle for lunch since we asked for a recommendation. It was unreal. Primož, thank you making our time in Slovenia so fun!
