This is not a typical beach trip — it’s a private, curated experience for travelers who want more than just a view. The hidden beach is not accessible by car — you reach it on foot via scenic coastal trails and a historic fishermen’s staircase carved into the cliffs. The journey itself is part of the reward. The hike ranges from 3 to 7 km, depending on the route, with several options available. The difficulty is moderate to high (4/5) and requires good physical fitness. Expect uneven terrain, steep descents and ascents, and occasionally slippery sections. Hiking poles are available free of charge upon request. Unlike standard tours, this experience is fully private and flexible, with no fixed pace or large groups. It’s a balance of movement and stillness — an active coastal hike followed by time to swim, relax, and enjoy a light picnic at a secluded Atlantic cove. This is not for everyone — and that’s exactly the point.

On this day we will explore the graceful streets of the historic center on foot, enter Sines Castle where the navigator Vasco da Gama was born and walk along the castle defensive walls. In this place we have an incredible view of the Bay of Sines and Vasco da Gama beach. Inside the defensive walls we will enter the museum and see unique pieces from various eras. Around the castle we will see Roman ruins, these are very pleasant hours of beauty and learning, all in a very peaceful way, contemplating moments of peace as holidays in Alentejo should be. Passage through the 25th of April Bridge towards Bethlehem, where you can visit the Monastery of Jerónimos, the Pattern of Discoveries and the Tower of Bethlehem. Lunch in a restaurant in the Docas de Lisboa (or other suggestion). Free time in the area of Lisbon (Rossio and Chiado). Pass by Alfama on the way back and pass by Vasco da Gama Bridge until you arrive in Sesimbra.
