Great time
I appreciated to give me an instruction the day before. I was very comfortable to receive this message. Our guide was James. He had a lots of knowledge the history of the Osaka. He always check us make sure his pace was not quick. Specially my son was a first time to see Osaka. He had many questions but James answered all of his questions. Great time 😉 Thank you

Worth doing!
Had a great time with our guide and smaller than average sized group of 6 travelers (9-10 is the usual size according to the guide). Osaka food and culture were explained in just enough detail to keep things interesting and the group moving to each new spot in a timely manner- also allowing time for questions. There’s high potential to be slightly/ pretty drunk if you finish every drink at each location depending on tolerance, but no one in our group felt any pressure to drink alcohol as non alcoholic options are easily available. Overall every minute of the tour was enjoyable and we became friends with the other travelers in our group (3 from UK, 1 from Azerbaijan, and 2 US) within the first 20 minutes (drinks do help the conversation). This was a great way of easing into foreign foods and culture as a first time Japan visitor. Very charming and personable guide who spoke perfect English!

Osaka food journey
The food tour is a great way to get an introduction to Osaka's food precinct. Guiding you through the Japanese food culture, and a bit of local history. Yuichy, is a great guide giving a laid back and fun vibe to the tour while keeping us on track for our food itinerary. It was a great laugh, awesome food and the group were a team quite quickly which made it a great experience of our holiday.

Good introduction to Osaka
Your does not go into the Castle. Brian was a very good guide explained things clearly, very helpful with getting around Osaka by train. Great view points outside Castle and in the highrise. Guided tour to fish market which would have been very difficult on our own.

Japan's second city, Osaka, is an exciting destination in its own right, and it provides a base for exploring beyond the city. Osaka day trips are often themed to suit a particular interest or niche activity, from food tours to exploring backstreets that you might not otherwise find. Tours beyond the city visit some of western Japan's most beautiful and iconic landmarks, including ancient temples and castles, traditional villages, and sites of spiritual significance. Whatever your reason for taking a day trip to or from Osaka, you'll find a suitable tour.
