Chateau de Cremat Tours and Tickets

There are plenty of ways to experience Château de Crémat. Looking at ratings and reviews previously given by customers, these are the best tours available right now:

• Nice Wine Tasting in the Hinterland in Defender

• Provence Organic Wine Small Group Half-Day Tour with Tastings from Nice

• Wine Tasting, Provencal Market, Cannes and St. Paul de Vence

• Private Wine Tour of the Vineyards on the French Riviera

• French Riviera, Wine Tasting, Provencal Market and Countryside

Prices vary widely depending on the experience. Wine tastings are €10 per person, vineyard tours are €25 or €30 (three or six wines), and combination vineyard and château tours are €35 or €40 (three or six wines). Or splurge on a private tour for up to six people for €450.

The site has long been associated with wine-making, but the “castle” was built in the early 1900s. It sits within the rare Bellet appellation—one of only a few AOC vineyards inside a major French city. Another claim to fame: Designer Irene Bretz let Coco Chanel use the estate's interlocking-C emblem.

The château sits in the hills above Nice, about a 20-minute drive from the city’s center. You can book a guided tour with hotel pickup, which helps since nearby public transport options are limited. Of course, you can also rent a car or grab a taxi for independent visits.

Yes, especially for wine and history lovers. Beyond tasting rare Bellet wines, you can explore vineyards, wine cellars, the château, and the gardens, all with fabulous views over the Var Valley toward the Mediterranean. The château's Roman-era storage tunnels and glamorous 1920s history add depth beyond the average vineyard stop, too.

It depends on the tour. Most include a guided walk through the vineyards, cellars, and gardens, plus a tasting of three to six wines. You can also explore the château. And if you want to get straight to business, you can simply “tour” the tasting room and sample their Bellet wines.
