It took a few hrs to finally catch something but when we did it was a massive 92in striped marlin. At first we was going to throw it back, and the crew tried their best to save the fish, but how it ate the fish/hook, we hurt it bad enough that after we threw it back in, shortly after, it came back up to the top of the water. It worked out good though, because after we realized that we literally caught a trophy fish, we decided to get a replica taxidermy of it sent to us in the states. Also at the end of our trip, literally as we were reeling in our lines, a mahi mahi jumped on one of the hooks and we ended up finishing the trip with 2 fish. We was able to get them both filleted and cooked how we wanted it right there at the marina and was able to bring the rest with us. You can get anymore fresh than that. Great trip, great crew. The guys really tried everything they could to help us catch fish. Changing bait and lures periodically and even communicating with other fisherman. We would definitely recommend this tour.

The boat ride, driver and guide were great!! I also loved the beach we went on. Though please be careful once on beach about getting scammed for drinks and umbrella. We ended up paying for an umbrella to sit under ($20) though he was trying to charge $35 to person next to us. (no idea we had to pay for umbrella use for 1 hour which is ridiculous), the guy wanted to change us even more for tips and drinks. We declined and he was rude. Be careful of getting scammed on one of the beaches by the workers!!!

The service was truly over the top in the best way. Dinner was another highlight: delicious, beautifully prepared, and surprisingly filling. And just when we thought the evening couldn’t get any better, we were treated to a breathtaking sunset paired with one last cocktail to close out the night. Pure magic. One small tip: bring a light cover-up! Once the sun dips below the horizon, the ocean breeze can get a bit chilly. An unforgettable experience from start to finish — absolutely worth every moment.
