Lima Gourmet Food Tour
This was an excellent food tour. Our guide Carlos was friendly, very knowledgeable and energetic. The food options he selected were diverse examples of Peruvian cuisine and all of them were delicious. The coach for traveling from restaurant to restaurant was very comfortable and easily fit our group of 7.

this food tour was...
this food tour was incredible. my guide, ms. paola was absolutely spectacular. we visited a number of establishments and tried a very good variety of dishes. there were no additional charges or fees or even wait times, you simply walk to the restaurants to be greeted and served right away. i went with a good sized group of about 8 and we were all accommodated and tended to. the tour didn't feel too long or too short and the evening option is perfect to end off your night. all in all, i recommend this tour to everyone who wants to try new foods, experience a number of dishes and restaurants with an expert, and spend time with nice people in interesting locations. and again, ms. paola was the best guide!

Superb way to spend time in Lima
We spent the morning with Maverick at the markets learning so much about Lima food culture. We then got into the cooking at the studio with our chef, Ruth. Wow!! What an amazing experience we had and the food was outstanding. Thankyou Maverick & Ruth we thoroughly enjoyed learning so much in such a wonderful environment.

An amazing experience
Yoced is a charming, funny and expert tour guide. As a solo female traveller, I was slightly nervous but from the moment I arrived, Yoced was attentive and kind. I had questions beyond the food tour and Yoced was ready to answer all of them really thoroughly. It felt more like a conversation with a knowledgeable and funny friend rather than a tour you pay for. He made sure everyone in the tour was happy and taken care of. If I visit Lima again, I'd love to go on different tours with Yoced.

Best LIMA tour experience
It was one of the BEST tour experience we had. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Lima and it's history and politics.
She explained everything in detail and made this trip memorable due to her extensive knowledge and personal touch. She was very pleasant, professional, and very patience. She took time to show us around. She spent enough time explaining and gave us enough time to explore and take pictures.

Lima’s a Strong Contender for Best Food!
What a great little introduction to Lima and the Peruvian food culture. Sheyla, our tour guide, really gave a great history of where we were, where we were going and what we were eating. It also helps that the food on the tour is SUPER DELICIOUS. Would love to recommend this tour and Sheyla to newcomers to Lima.

Best Food Making Class!
My son and I wanted to do a cooking class and was so glad that we picked this one. It was a personal experience with Ruth and Alexis and they were amazing. They were patient and helpful throughout the entire experience. We had a great time, learning about the different ingredients, the culture and history, and the foods we were making. We had a really great time and they were amazing teachers. Definitely recommend this tour!

Great for families
This is a fantastic experience if you want to get an overview of Lima’s culture and food traditions. I went with my husband and 2 college-aged sons. We sampled a variety of cuisines from fantastic coffee, delicious ceviche, and traditional Peruvian food overbooking Pre-Inca ruins. Lorenza is a terrific tour guide and very knowledgeable. Albert is a very professional driver. I loved that this tour was private for our family only. Our family are foodies and we firmly believe you cannot enjoy a country unless you enjoy their local cuisine! Would recommend to all our friends.

A Must Do When Visiting Lima!
I signed up for this activity and ended up being the only person so received a "private" food tour. Silvana (and Mr. Miguel, the driver) was the best host! She took me to local food spots I would have never found or stumbled upon myself. We had some of the best and freshest fish sandwiches, fruit, ceviche, and fish broth soup. We took time between spots to walk and digest, and Silvana explained the history of certain neighborhoods and cultural significance of street murals. I 100% recommend signing up for this, and if you can request Silvana, do it! Such a great way to experience Lima.

Great tour of Pre-Inca Temple!
This was a great tour and learned so much about the Pre-Inca culture! The site is massive and highly recommended this tour to help you understand all the sites in the sanctuary. But to really make the trip memorable, request Mario! He was so knowledgeable and presented the information with such passion that you were captivated the entire time!

This was a great...
This was a great experience. The pickup and drop off was great. We arrived at least 45 minutes before the excursion, unfortunately no details of when we would head to the boat was provided. We saw lots of birds and different kinds, including penguins. The views around the islands are amazing. The water was quite cold, but the wet suits helped. The guide joined us in the water and assisted anyone not as comfortable in the water. The sea lions came close but was never threatening, even with the alpha male in the water. It is a speedboat, but it never moved fast, and there is no shade available.

This was an excellent...
This was an excellent adventure that included a history of cacao, the bean-to-bar process, a chocolate tasting session which included different bars from 100% to 70%, and pouring our own chocolate into molds, making our own customized treats. Angelina was the Master of Ceremonies and was AWESOME!!!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Long celebrated as the food capital of South America, Lima’s cuisine celebrates Peru’s unique geography and biodiversity. There’s no tastier way to explore Peru’s capital than on a Lima food tour, which helps you overcome the language barrier and try lesser-known dishes in hidden corners of the culinary landscape. Gourmet food tours focus on high-end cuisine, while street food and market excursions showcase a more traditional side of Lima’s food. Whichever you sink your teeth into, you’ll leave smiling and satisfied.
