Top Konya Day Trips

Konya, Turkey has long been associated with the mystical Sufi tradition—and this private, full-day tour will introduce you to its most important (and spiritual) landmarks. Following morning pickup at your hotel, head to the Mevlana Museum (a previous whirling dervish center, and home to Rumi’s tomb), visit the Alaeddin Mosque, discover the historical Meram district, and learn the local history from your guide.

Walk in the footsteps of the famed saint and mystic of the ancient world, Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi, during this unique guided tour. You'll visit the Mevlâna Museum to see the distinctive turquoise dome of the Sufi center and pay respects at Rumi’s tomb before continuing on to other significant sites from Rumi’s life, including Kultur Park, Sems-i Tebrizi, Iplikci Cami, and the gold bazaar that is rumored to be where Rumi first began to whirl.
