An unforgettable experience with the best guide/driver

I took this tour solo, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driver and guide. Ahmed Habibi is what made this experience so special, and I ended up gaining not just amazing memories but a great friend along the way! From going out of his way to show me additional sites in Madaba to inviting me to dinner, Ahmed went above and beyond to make sure I had the best possible experience. His kindness, hospitality and generosity truly made me feel welcome, especially as a solo traveller. Ahmed is incredibly knowledgeable about the historical sites, local culture and tours, and he shares that knowledge in such an engaging way. Beyond that, he is a genuinely fun, fascinating and wonderful person to spend time with. The journey was just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves! As a solo traveller, having someone who makes you feel comfortable, welcome and included makes all the difference, and Ahmed exceeded every expectation. I’m so grateful to have met him and to have experienced Jordan with someone who clearly has so much passion for his country and its history. If you’re considering booking this tour, DO IT! Great but be careful with those not part of Viator

We really enjoyed this tour! Petra, Wadi Rum and Dead Sea real very nice to explore. Our guide Omar was fantastic. We got a different driver for the Dead Sea portion, Mohamed. He was good for Viator portion however after the tour we had some disappointing interactions with Mohamed. Not Viator’s fault. We Thought because we were introduced by Viator he could be trusted we chose poorly.

If you want to visit a...

If you want to visit a lot of places in a day, this is the ticket. We were happy with our driver. Although he was not a tour guide, chatting with him gave us insight into life in Jordan. The sights we visited were interesting. If I were to do it again, I would visit all five sites. Even the Royal Automobile Museum was more interesting than I expected.

Wonderful Experience From Start to Finish!

Fantastic trip through Jordan!

We had a smooth pick-up from our hotel and got right on the road. Jafar, our guide was really great. He made sure we had enough washroom stops along the way, and gave us time to explore in Petra. We were able to do our 4x4 tour around Wadi Rum that same afternoon/evening, before settling in at camp....which was fantastic. The 'tents' were wonderful - complete with A/C and WIFI. The resort for the Dead Sea was perfect. Easy buffet lunch then off to float. VERY worth it! 100% would recommend.

Anees the driver was...

Anees the driver was excellent. Great English and very flexible with visits. Saved me money with local knowledge and tips especially when visiting the prime tourist spots. This tour was especially a great option when moving from Amman to the Dead Sea hotels as the company was able to change up the route and drop me off at my new hotel after our tour was complete. Will be reaching out again next time I'm in Jordan.

Wonderful Petra experience!

So good! I was so happy with this experience - recommended by a close friend in Australia, Viator provided great options and I chose the group transport to Petra Visitor Centre. Very good price and I understand it is very competitive due to lack of tourism currently. Geopolitics make us better travellers! Our driver was amazing, so punctual and amicable. I got joined up with a Japanese gentleman and we enjoyed the trip in silence - wonderful. Sometimes you need to contemplate the landscape only. Our driver provided information regarding many aspects of the experience, very helpful. Highly recommended!!

Excellent Tour Experience

In may 2026, we participated in the "Jerash, Aljoun, Umm Qais" tour arranged by the tour operator, R&H VIP Transportation Services. Our driver selected to take us on the tour was Mr. Shadi Almanasir. Shadi made our tour a wonderfully, memorable experience. Each of the stopovers were very interesting. At Umm Qais we hired a guide at the site. We viewed the two other sites, the Castle of Adjoin and Jerash, on our own. We had seen Ephesus in Turkey which we greatly enjoyed but I thought Jerash was much larger, better-preserved, and very impressive to see. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jordan. Regarding the tour operator, we had enquired whether they’d permit our driver to drop us off at a different location from our pickup. They happily agreed and thus, we were picked up in Amman but was dropped off in Petra. Thereafter, I requested the company’s driving services for 2 more days. We were lucky to have Shadi as our driver during those days. The first day, Shadi drove us from Wadi Rum to the Dead Sea with stoppages at Kerak Castle and the Pink Lake. The following day, Shadi drove us from the Dead Sea to Amman, with stoppages at Mount Nebo and St. George's Church in Madaba that houses the Madaba Map. We also stopped at the Cave of the Seven Sleepers that was along our route to Amman. In Amman, Shadi drove us to see the Citadel and the Roman Amphitheater before dropping is off at our hotel. Shadi is extremely professional and was very timely in working out the logistics of our various trips. He is a friendly and enjoyable driver who is very knowledgeable, providing us in-depth information about the various stoppages and sights throughout our trip. This tour, the tour operator, and our driver are all highly recommended by me and my family.

Relaxing way to see and learn about Amman

We had a wonderful and relaxing time visiting the sites with our tour operator, Ahmad. Ahmad picked us up at our hotel and took us to the key sites, took some great pictures of us, and was patient and informative. Tour lasted about approx 4 hours, however it seemed it could be shorter or longer, just depends on how long you spend at each site. Highly recommend if visiting Amman for first time as we were.
