This tour was a great way...
This tour was a great way to make the most of a short time on the island. A driving tour full of info, monkeys, chocolate, rum and beaches… what more could you ask for?! Our guide Cessia was very friendly and knowledgeable and we were in safe hands with the driver. All in all it was a great day and I’m looking forward to hopefully returning to the island in the future

Wonderful experience and company!
Cynthia was a fantastic guide! We had such a wonderful time learning all about the island. She recommended us to a great restaurant with beautiful view ay the end of our tour for lunch. She took us to west bay beach and we were able to walk to a few places on the water to sample those offerings. Great recommendations and tour! Highly recommend.

Extremely helpful
MJ Tours provided exceptional service during our visit to Roatan. Michelle was incredibly helpful when we encountered an unexpected emergency, personally driving me to meet the rest of the tour group. Our driver, Ricky, ensured that I was able to finish the missed portion of the excursion while also looking after my wife during my absence. I highly recommend MJ Tours to anyone who values a welcoming, family-like experience, as they handled every request with grace. It is only unfortunate that the weather was not ideal.

Great company, great time. Better host.
I was skeptical with this excursion as I thought it may be a bust. I was wrong. Little sketchy walking outside the port to find the driver, but after that you're golden. We were passed off to our driver, Norma, who we would adopt in a second. Nicest lady. She's a local and knows everything about the island. Knows the history and culture. She's seen all the changes. The sloth and monkey exhibit was actually better than I anticipated. Only about 45 minutes, but very up close and personal. Norma stayed there and then took us to the next stop- the "private island". Honestly, it was a little concerning going through side roads, down dirt roads, and then stopping at some old buildings, and then onto some older boats. But don't be fooled- nicest people and they take you to Brady's Cay. A little spot on an island about 300 yds off the main island. This was the best. Low key. Not crowded. Great snorkeling. Saw a nurse shark, a barracuda, etc. There is a small restaurant and store on the island. The servers are let's say "very attentive" to asking if you need food or drinks. There are beach chairs and umbrellas. We could have spent hours here. After about 90 minutes we were taken back via boat to the main island...and there was Norma waiting for us. We asked her for a good local restaurant and she took us to a place that she knew well. We had great conversations with her over lunch and then sadly had to return to the port. Her company, Roatan Ocean Adventures, did a great job hosting us. She had nothing but praise for her boss, Herbert, and told us great stories about him and the company over the years. When an employee speaks that highly of her company and boss then you know they are legit. We would come back here without a second thought and work with ROA.
