Take a jacket & brolly just in case of wet cold weather. There are steps along the way. Gourdon was under clouds so didnt see much. The actual town is very quaint

Spectacular visit to four ancient French towns.

We had such an incredible experience visiting Grasse with its perfume factory and the three ancient towns outside Nice, Our guide, Laurence, was delightful. She gave us so much history and perspective on the towns and the area. Plus, she was so personable that she made everyone feel comfortable and part of a cohesive group. Best tour by far

This was the best tour I took in my 12 days of travel in France. Nabril was the best tour guide I have ever had on any tour I have ever taken. He had a passion for the history and explained things in a way that could be understood and kept us interested the whole trip. He was amazingly thorough in explaining in each village how to get around the town to best experience the history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visited the medieval villages around Nice.

If visiting Gourdon, come prepared with cash; the village boasts numerous souvenir shops and artisans selling perfumes, handmade goods, and local treats.
Don’t forget your hat and sunscreen; given its exposed, hilltop position, Gourdon experiences strong, direct sunlight during the summer months.
Be sure to bring your camera, as Gourdon’s views encompass 50 miles (80 kilometers) of the French Riviera.
