Fez day trip
Abdhoul was very accommodating! we actually had to shorten our tour so we could catch our ride to leave the city, so we asked if we could vary the itinerary a little. He changed it completely so we got to see exactly what we wanted! He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the history, and navigated the souks with such ease!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Fes: Private City Tour: Ask for Ahmed ONLY!!!
We are seasoned OS travellers who nearly always get a half-day city tour the day after we arrive in a new city: this one through Viator, is easily in the top three, after over 35 years travelling. Without reservation we give Ahmed not only a 5-Star Rating: if there was a higher 6-Star he would easily get that! Ask specifically for this Moroccan government licensed tour guide: as a child he grew up in the Medina & has many years of local knowledge. You can get cheaper trips but you WILL be missing out on soooo much! We ask you to stay with us in this extended review because everyone needs to know about this honest, professional & highly knowledgeable tour guide.
Meeting Ahmed at our Riad was stressless. His big smile & genuine welcome was impressive: we knew this was going to be a very memorable day. The first part was being driven around to the main places of interest with expert commentary: we asked lots of questions which he answered thoughtfully. Highlights included going to a ceramic co-op: interesting: unlike other tour operators at no stage during this visit or others were we ‘pressured’ to buy anything: he stayed with the vehicle, while we looked around.
About three-quarters of our time was spent walking: is there anything Ahmed doesn’t know or anyone he doesn’t know: easy answer to both, NO! A lot of time was spent in the Medina and its infinite number of alleyways, etc: often we didn’t see our fellow tourists; we were truly experiencing the authentic view of this fascinating place. There are sooo many highlights, that I could easily write for hours, which we won’t.
A few of the standout mentions: Ahmed took us to his favourite lunch place where he generously bought us what he was going to to eat: a simple fresh bread roll filled with all sorts of Moroccan delights including a fried egg: WHAT a taste sensation! He took us to an authentic government approved rug maker: WOW! To see it being made & hearing all the facts! Ahmed took us to his favourite sweets store, patisserie & the best date store in the Medina. Glorious authentic Moroccan food! We found an authentic Hammam spa & went in to look around: seeing Ahmed, the owner welcomed us in with a mint tea & cakes: we took some photos of his services & last night we booked 1hr session for both of us: outstanding (free pick up/drop us back to our Riad). I think by now you have picked up from our words that this was an ‘event’ not just a tour!
So let’s sum up: Ahmed is the tour operator everyone should experience: he clearly sets the benchmark for how a private tour should be constructed & executed. We wish him every success: he is definitely in the right job: in his case it is clearly a passion!
Our rating is the highest possible to give: there is no negatives at all: just a wonderful, positive, entertaining & informative day out in Fes. Don’t even think about it: just book Ahmed; you will have a day out you will never forget. Obviously, we HIGHLY recommend this tour & Ahmed to our fellow travellers! Thank you, GreyNomads

A Great Way to Discover Fes
Such a great way to discover Fes! Our guide was punctual, welcoming and full of interesting stories about the Medina. The tour was well paced and we never felt rushed. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, history and local culture. Definitely worth doing!

My Driver Ahmed is very friendly and gives a lot of local information about fes and morocco along the trip. And his driving skills is very stable and I appreciated it. The tour guide in Meknes that we joined is very professional too. I enjoyed the trip very much.

Great all day tour
The van ride was comfortable and our driver did a great job making good time between stops. We had plenty of time at Volubilis to wander and take photos. There was no guide to provide information, but it was still very enjoyable. The lunch stop was very tasty and they gave us a lot of food. I had the mixed grill and it was fantastic. There was a local guide for the Meknes portion of the tour. Our guide, Rasheed, was great. He spoke at least four languages and was very funny. Overall, we saw quite a bit and had a great time. We left Fez around 9:30 am and were back at about 7:00 pm.

Best Meal of My Entire Trip!
This is the best experience I've ever had and I've done Viator activities all over the globe. Immad and Hanaia were absolutely terrific at guiding us through the cooking. But more importantly they treated us like old friends who were just over having a meal together. We talked about life, Morroco, and traditional cooking. By the time the class was over, we had the most delicious meal of our trip and 3 new friends. Did I mention Ms. Hyatt cooked with use the whole time! It was wonderful from start to finish - a 10 out of 10 experience!

Wonderful day with Mr. Hazma
We were on an organized group tour and with a free day in Fes we decided to book a private tour.. We were so glad we did, having flexibility to decide where we wanted to go, how long to spend in each really makes a difference.
Hamza really was great in understanding our interests, recommending restaurant for lunch, taking us to see artisans at work and learning all about Berber rugs.. none of this was actually in the description of the itinerary but he adapted to our interests. When we told him we liked wine he even gifted us with a bottle. While he is unable to act as an official guide in historical sites or cities due to local regulations his knowledge really helped us appreciate the area. Thanks so much!

Fun time in Chefchaouen
I was pleased with my driver, Mohcine, and he did a great job of picking me up in Fez to begin journey. He was attentive to my needs on the multi-hour journey and made rest stops as needed.
I enjoyed my time in Chefchaouen and it I had to do it over again I would have stayed a couple of nights in the city, then journeyed on to Tangier.
It was my first trip to Morocco and I found the people welcoming. The natives are eager to show you their country and genuinely extend their hospitality to visitors.

Great trip to the blue city
I had the absolute best time in Chefchaouen. Our driver Said was very professional and knew the roads very well. Our guide Abdelhadi was very nice and made sure everyone made it back to the meeting spot on time and communicated well throughout the trip. 10/10 would recommend this tour company!

The class itself was great! We enjoyed the experience very much. However, our reservation said that pick up from our lodging was included but we were told that it’s not included. So at the last minute we had to figure out transportation. The taxi driver did not know the area where the cooking class was and left us at the bottom of the hill. We had to walk uphill quite a distance. Then the cooking class location had several flights of stairs.

Mid atlas trip
I booked this tour with Viator and it was absolutely fantastic! The trip to the Atlas Mountains was even better than I expected. The scenery was breathtaking, the stops were well-planned, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience really fun and relaxed.
I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Morocco. It was one of the highlights of my trip!

Interesting and safe
This Medina is another world. Kamal was a lovely gentle guide. I felt we were getting good info. He was obviously well known throughout. We did stop at a few places and obviously encouraged to shop by those places but never pressured, except at the tannery. That felt quite pressured. This was exceptional value and we had a lovely small group of 5. Would be concerned with a massive group due to some of the crowded areas. You would spend ages waiting for people.
