What are people saying about England

The weather can change quickly so bring an umbrella. Also making to the lighthouse is difficult in the time you have. The lower bunker and beech are awesome. There is an old ship wreck you can get great photos of. Overall great trip. Our guide Phoebe was excellent!

Great Day Trip with Manon and Greg
The posted itinerary is a bit confusing but essentially the first stop is Stonehenge after a 2ish hour drive from London. There was a bit of traffic the day I took my tour so we only had about an hour at Stonehenge but that was enough. There isn’t much else to do there other than to see the large stones. After that, it is about a 1 hour drive to Bath. Once at Bath, we waited a bit until our scheduled time to enter the Bath museum. Then the tour guide left us with museum audioguides to have a self guided visit. Including time in the museum, we had about 3 hours in Bath altogether. The drive back to London is about 3 hours. My tour guide was Manon and she was very warm and knowledgable. She spoke here and there during the bus ride and gave us chances to rest in between stops. Our driver Greg was great at navigating the small roads. I would highly recommend Manon and Greg and this tour if you are interested in a day trip out of London!

No other way to see Stonehenge!!
This tour was absolutely fantastic! I have waited my whole life to see Stonehenge and to see them from the inside and be free to walk among the stones was just a dream come true. I can’t imagine seeing it any other way! Don’t hesitate…. Book this tour!! Windsor Castle was beautiful. Although it was a very early morning, it is worth it!

Good Value
The guide was good and I liked the different experiences. It was nice to go inside Stonehenge and the guides at Stonehenge were very knowledgeable and helpful. Visiting the village was just pretty. Bath was interesting and the museum is well done. I like that the guide gave us free time as well as good advice on things to do. He was very good at managing the entire group and catering to everyone's needs (really well organized). I think my only complaint is that the bus seats were uncomfortable but that isn't the guide's fault. I would recommend this tour, especially if you want to go inside Stonehenge and if you want to go to Bath!

Lovely day
Absolutely fantastic day!! We especially loved exploring Conwy castle and the snowdonia park. The entire trip was beautiful. Anne was engaging, kind, and informative. She had just the right mix of history, humor, and time without talking (with good music) to gaze at the scenery. We had such a nice time and were glad to be able to spend a day outside of the big cities.

Great way to catch Dover and Canterbury in a day from London
Great way to get from London to see cliffs of Dover, Dover Castle, and Canterbury Cathedral. We were able to fit everything in at the Dover Castle, but we rushed and walked quickly. We did the longer World War II tunnel tour by getting in line immediately when upon arrival. We were the last ones accepted to that small group tour of 30.So some people had to wait and then that would’ve been all they would’ve been able to do.
The different tunnel exit from the castle that is medieval is very interesting also. Because we did as much as we did, I was not able to read all of the signs that were in that tunnel. But it was very interesting. Cool seeing the castle in general. Lots of things to check out. And the Rapper’s on the outsider interesting also as well as the great views from up top. Though it was a bit hazy while we were there we were able to see France.
Cliffs of Dover also beautiful. Again, we had a nice enough clear enough visibility that we were able to see France. Would have liked more time at the cliffs of Dover to walk further hike further. Some of the people in our group had mobility issues and there is no way they would’ve gotten to see as much. They could only go to the viewpoint and that was a struggle. We continued along some of the trail, but would have liked more time. I literally was running to get back to the bus. Our guy told us that they have left people there before who tried to hike down to the beach. So just note that.
Canterbury Cathedral was nice. Beautiful church! They have free guides in the church, but I did not see them. That would’ve been something we should have asked our our Anderson tour guide, Kat about. She was not able to go into the church with us. I’m not sure if we had time to do a guided tour in the church with one of the church representatives. There’s a nice crypt in the church also, though you are not able to take any pictures there. Some cool Roman ruins outside on the grounds as well as free public toilets. I picked up a retold more modern version of Canterbury tales in the church gift shop that was outside the church., but on the ground. They had several variations of it, including a Kids picture book. Gift shop had lots to look at if you want to support the area and the church.
Canterbury Cathedral is UNESCO site. Saint Augustine’s Abbey is probably 10-15 minute walk from the cathedral and is also an UNESCO site. It’s approximately 15 pounds entrance fee. And then Martin’s church is further on from that. We did not have enough time we thought to be able to tour the Augustine, Abbey or to walk on to Saint Martin’s. Something else that’s in the vicinity, but the opposite direction is the Canterbury castle ruins. They are in the vicinity of where the bus drops you off, but opposite direction of the cathedral.
Cat pointed out some different restaurants and pubs of note in Canterbury to stop at if you wanted to do that while you were there. Time is definitely limited though.
The tour bus makes a toilet break on the way to Dover, but they do not make stops on the way back from Canterbury at all. Just know that and make use of a public toilet before you get on the bus to go back.
If this tour were to change any, my request would be to have longer time at each of the stops. We are fit and fast walkers, and we still were pushing it to get things in in the time allotted. For us, Dover was the highlight and definitely where we would have liked longer.
Oh, and one more thing: where the bus drops you at the Dover Castle, and at cliffs of Dover, there are steep inclines to either get up to the viewing or the castle or to get back down, depending on how you are. Again, we had someone with mobility issues on our bus that we wondered how much they were able to see because of the time it would have taken them to walk to the site.

Don't do this on your own
You are going to have difficulty doing this on your own. Your hand is held by being escorted from London to Brighton on the train. There, your guides are ready for you in air conditioned vans. The natural beauty of the sites is incredible and varied. A stop at a local farm to table market was enjoyable. Adam was a first rate guide. After the trip you can take the train back to London or stay and explore Brighton.

Highly Recommended
I would highly recommend this tour. It is organized and structured. Our tour guide Anna was amazing; she was thorough, organized and always completed a roll call to ensure that no one was being left behind. The Eiffel Tower experience was well worth it! This tour is really the best way to see Paris in a day!!!!!!

Lovely day trip from London!
For a lovely introduction to the English countryside, this trip is perfect! We saw 3 beautiful villages in the heart of the Cotswolds. Highly recommend adding n the pub lunch, which was delicious! Our tour guide (Rowan) was lovely and our bus driver (Florian) quite accomplished at navigating the large bus on the narrow roads.

Exceptional and Highly Recommended!
This tour is a fantastic way to see the very best of the Lake District. The route was incredibly scenic, with breathtaking views throughout the day, and it felt like every turn revealed another beautiful landscape.
The stops were well planned and gave us enough time to wander around, take in the scenery, explore the local areas, and enjoy each location without feeling rushed.
The bus was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained, which made the journey even more enjoyable.
Our tour guide was wonderful, kind, attentive, and highly knowledgeable. He made everyone feel welcome, shared interesting information along the way, and clearly cared about ensuring that everyone had a great experience.

Mistake in booking info/ from a lady who loves to travel
Your company made a really bad mistake in where to meet at Victoria station. On my booking, on all my info, it say 7. It was not 7 it was 3. We went around and around and asked so many bus drivers. There is no number 7. It goes from 1/5. There is a 7 stop on the entrance to the station, and we thought maybe that. I know computers make mistakes, but you should have picked this one up. We made it my the skin of our teeth. As it turns out at one point for we were just asking for 7, we ran into our bus driver, who was not by his bus, and he was so sweet saying maybe it was across the street. We were just about ready to give up, one more stab. A young black English man said go down the buses ask again. Our driver was waiting for us at 3. I always use your company for tours. I have recommended you anlways. If you look up on your record I called and your AI lady gave me info I had , she also wrote back 7. Our hotel would love to book the travel for us. I said no, I like the way you give me all the info. As you can see this was a very stressful 1/2 hour which I did not need.

Ps Bus driver was wonderful and I loved the entire adventure. It would have made me very sad if I missed this beautiful countryside at my age of 86.
Please let me know how this happened.
