Rural Cyprus is at your fingertips on this whistle stop tour. The morning kicks off with first stop at Petra tou Romiou for photographs (available only for guests from Pissouri Hotels). Aphrodite’s mythical birthplace ‘Petra tou Romiou’ is an interesting geological formation of huge rocks along one of the most beautiful coastlines on the island. Then you will continue with a visit of Kourion–one of the most impressive archaeological sites on the island. It’s classic Greco-Roman, with a half-moon of seats facing out to sea. Kolossi Castle is the next stop. This Crusader-era castle is surrounded by flowering plants and a pretty courtyard. Hop back on the airconditioned bus and head to Fini village where lunch will be served at a local tavern. Next stop, the mountain-ringed village of Omodos where you will have a guided walk through the village. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to taste traditional Cyprus wine in a local winery before heading back to the resorts.

Excellent Tour

Terrific day exploring the mountain and village areas of the Troodos Mountains. The villages were interesting and the waterfalls and churches that we saw were quite beautiful too. Iaxanna (Joanna) was our driver and she was excellent company as well as a very safe driver. A lovely Saturday in Cyprus. Highly recommend!

Brilliant Day Trip

Brilliant day. Pick up from hotel in Ayia Napa to join group in Larnaca. Six of us and the driver travelled up into the hills. Visited different family working activities tasting Halloumi Cheese, then Olive Oil with Ice Cream, next to the Winery, had a wonderful lunch, visited a Bee and honey farm and then free time in Lefkara. Thanks to the Driver Helena for all the information and the photos of the day. Would recommend this to all.

Absolutely worth it

What a great way to see, taste and experience the mountains! If it wasn’t for this tour, we would have never tasted those things and seen those views and villages. The mezze lunch was absolutely delicious! The tour is done in small groups, so it is easy to ask questions and have conversations (and not wait long at the end of each stop or be chasing people down). Paul was great, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Great guy.

Marvelous day trip

This is a must trip if you are in Aya napa. We enjoyed every minute off it. The places that we visited, the people that hosted us and our operator Georgina was stunning. She embraced us with a lot off rich information all through the way and she is a very wonderful person. I would rate this trip as a ten out of ten and as a must.

Sept 11, 2026: Troodos Mountain Adventures: Who decided that 10:30 AM is too early for wine? Because our guide, Maria, firmly rejected that myth. Here’s a recap of our Troodos Mountains adventure: Stop 1: Constantinou Winery – Where science meets sips. They use a refractometer to check grape sweetness before letting high-tech machinery handle the magic. Stop 2: Lion Spirit Winery – We kicked things off with Xynisteri (Cyprus’s favorite local white grape) and wrapped up with Commandaria. Fun fact: It got its name during the Crusades when the Knights of St. John set up their headquarters (the Commanderie) here! They even have a rare “Black Amber” vintage that costs a pretty penny. The Lunch Break – Sumptuous, flawless, and completely necessary after all those tastings. Stop 3: Ayia Mavri – Owned by a 92-year-old doctor whose passion for winemaking is goals. We easily cleared 4+ wines per stop, but his Commandaria? Absolute chef’s kiss. It was so velvety, rich, and smooth it’s no wonder they call it the “wine of kings”! Naturally, we had to smuggle home a bottle of Commandaria—a legendary blend of Xynisteri and Mavro—so a piece of Cyprus stays with us. Between her world-traveler stories, dancer moves, cheerleader energy, and skydiver guts, Maria kept us on our toes. Bright Sunny Day at Troodos Mountain

Chryso is a very knowledgeable extremely warm lady who took us on a tour and introduced the real culture and hidden gems of Cyprus along the route. She went out of her way to take us to photogenic sites which were not part of the tour and she took care of us just like a family member so would highly recommend the tour and the guide.

Wonderfully Lost in the Troodos.

My wife and I had Elena all to ourselves on this tour. Wonderful day and passed way too fast. Taken to true traditional stops. Felt wonderfully lost in the Troodos. Meet individuals who really knew and loved their work whether wine, olive oil or sweet making. Way too much wonderful traditional food but who’s complaining.
