To Whom It May Concern, My wife and I booked a trip from Dubrovnik to Montenegro yesterday (6/8/26), which involved a lengthy drive by our guide in Dubrovnik. We were a bit apprehensive at how such a drive would work out and whether it would be a somewhat uncomfortable and perhaps boring few hours. We were wrong. Our host, Matko, turned out to provide one of the most comfortable and genuinely compassionate experiences that we have received in our many years of travel. He was attentive and gave attention to every detail of our trip. However, the most remarkable and outstanding aspect of our experience was Matko's extremely deep understanding of the historical and physical aspects of the specific areas that we drove through as well as their historic and prehistoric relationships throughout the surrounding countries and even the world. Matko was infinitely energetic and engaged and responded instantly to any question that we brought up. He provided so much information that our drive did not feel as long as it actually was. However, he was always sensitive to make sure that we wanted to hear the information he was ready to share and was willing to back off and let us rest if we so desired. We appreciated his energy and his impressive understanding of everything that was involved in the trip experience. Our tour guide, Лео, was amazing. Just as the Brazilian government declared Pelé a national treasure to prevent him from leaving Brazil, I’m imploring President Zoran Milanović to do the same for Лео. A tour of the Krka Waterfalls would NEVER be the same without him. It’s not a risk the good people of Croatia should be willing to take!! Also, give this man a raise…rumor is he has two cats that he has to put through college!

I booked this trip to Plitvice lakes from Split. It is well worth booking this trip. There are walkways throughout the area, and we had guides throughout the experience, showing us the important sights in the area. The area is beautiful and well worth experiencing. The guides were friendly and approachable. While I left and came back from Trogir on the bus from Split, I found that there was an equivalent tour from Zagreb, and you can use this trip to travel from Split to Zagreb and vice versa. I think this is a really nice facility on this tour. A few travellers took advantage of that service on that trip, and the guides were well organised in ensuring that everyone got on the correct bus at the end of the tour.
