Wonderful Daytrip

The day startet relaxing with a pick up on time wit CW. The whole ride in the small bus was comfy and relaxing. Before the Trip starts you get the information to bring your own meal or food because there is no restaurant stop. Due to the short break for fueling up you have a chance to buy some food at the station and also CW paid attention and spread the information to buy some food if you didn't bring any. The size of the group was perfect that day (in total 7 people) and so was the weather. The locations that we visited were amazing. Alone the ride along the road was wonderful with the tall Mountians and beautiful nature. At the locations we had different timeslots. CW also ask if they are fitting for everyone. He also was very patient if someone run 5min late. He made sure everyone was ok and was available for all our questions. Beside all that he did a fantastic job with all the driving and education about everything on our way. Plus is he made fantstic pictures of everyone. For me it was a wonderful day filled with all the beauty of the Mountains in a very relaxing and informational way. I would book this trip again.

The whole day was...

The whole day was fantastic. Mario was very welcoming and friendly and really took the group under his wing. He outlined the day’s activities so everyone was clear about what we were doing and he shared so much local knowledge throughout the day. He also told us about the trails/paths to take to get the best views and happily volunteered to be the official photographer for the day. Mario also had lots of recommendations for lunch in Banff that were greatly appreciated. Last but not least, the playlist during the drive was top notch! The playlist was varied so there was something for everyone. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone (whether you’re travelling with friends/family or on your own) wanting a taste of what the Rocky Mountains has to offer. The attention to detail in the trip planning, the communication about itinerary changes, and the kindness shown by the Rocky Mountain Trips team cannot be beaten.

Perfect transport for our family

This was just what we were looking for - a small bus to take our family of wide age gap to both moraine lake and lake Louise. This allowed us to not have to worry about parking - gave us the permit we needed for moraine lake and was the perfect amount of time at both lakes. The driver was super nice and had great info about the area that was interesting and helpful.

Habib is friendly, outgoing. Courteous. Enthusiastic and a good driver. He kept his hands on the wheel! It is clear he enjoys his job as tour guide. He played a taped audio guide which introduced us to the trajectory of life on earth, very worthwhile.The dinasour museum took me by surprise by its size and importance. His microphone was not working which caused some consternation. However his voice is resonant, his English excellent, and he made sure we could hear him when he had info to share. I would recommend this tour if your group has interest in paleontology and the study of life on earth through fossils.

This was such a great...

This was such a great experience! Our driver, Daman, was so kind and professional. He was so helpful and provided great advice and photo taking skills! It was so nice to have someone drive us from Calgary to Jasper. We originally were going to drive ourselves, but then we realized that there was no cell phone service anywhere on the freeway and as two millennials that rely on our phones for everything, that made us very nervous.

Calgary Walking Tour

It was a 3 hour tour with quite a number of steps, most had railings to use. There was a 30 minute “rest/washroom” time at the library where there was also a small snack/drink cafe. Our guide was very good but is leaving Calgary next week. However, I’m guessing since the tour is “pay your guide what you choose”, that most of them are pretty good. I do think it would be appropriate if the company gave some guidelines for amounts. The downtown area is very interesting and the art is impressive. Even though not all the art was exactly my taste, the fact there is so much & it is so diverse is very appealing & interesting. Highly recommend.

Great tour of the city of Calgary city art. Many talented artists leave their mark on the sides if buildings all over the city. We began at the wonderful brewery and sampled 6 different beers. Then walked the city to see the art and ended at a second brewery sampling another f is ur beers. The second was Four Dogs which allowed patrons to bring their dogs with them inside.

Day Tripping in an Air Conditioned Van

On a recent vacation to Calgary we took the Banff Gondola Hot Springs Bow Falls and Three Lakes Tour. From beginning to end, we had a very enjoyable day. The pick-up location was easy to find and very walkable from our downtown hotel. Our guide, Naveen, did an excellent job. He was cordial and professional, a perfect combination. Our favorite parts of the tour were Bow Falls, Lake Louise, and the Banff Gondola. If you take this tour and you happen to love mint chocolate chip ice cream, you're in luck! It was available at the snack stand at Lake Minnewanka and was delicious!
