If you are on cruise ship No Pier you are transported by "tender ship" so less time on Grand Cayman
Tour driver info was good and great lunch by the Seven Mile beach
I was there October 2026. Sightseeing was good, bus comfortable. Paid to see Dolphins only $2 it was nice. 7 mile beach was a disappointment. Not enough time allotted. Beach was beautiful. Cost to rent a beach chair for 45mins was ridiculous.
Our driver Andrew was on time and very friendly. He was extremely knowledgeable about the island as he pointed out places of interest on our way to the Tortuga Rum Factory and Seven Mile Beach. He also made sure we were back in time to eat at a local favorite restaurant and shop before boarding our ship.
It was very informative. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. He was very patient and helpful with my husband who had a stroke and has left side weakness
Andrew was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Each stop is about 20 minutes, but you have enough time to see and do everything without feeling rushed.
Although they weren’t baking at the Tortuga factory yet, we were able to go inside for cake and rum tastings and do a little shopping. In addition to Camana Bay and The Old Homestead, we also drove by the Governor’s Mansion.
Hell was very cool to see, and the gift shop was a fun place to visit and meet the family who runs it.
The Dolphin Center stop is just a visit to the gift shop unless you pay an additional $2 fee. You can choose to visit the Turtle Centre across the street instead, but you have to pay full admission, which is not worth it for a 20-minute stop.
The final hour is spent at Seven Mile Beach. It was brutally hot, and since I’m not much of a beach person, I was able to find a shaded spot to sit and relax. On the ride back, Andrew entertained us with some fun trivia and showed us where the craft market was located so we could do a little shopping before reboarding the ship.
I highly recommend this tour! It was a quarter of the price of a similar excursion offered by the cruise line, and we got to see even more places. Best of all, we had a wonderful tour guide!
Thank you, Andrew!
Our driver was very knowledgeable and a great driver. Our group was 16 passengers, the van was clean and comfortable. All stops were good, and timing on each stop was perfect.
I would recommend this for anyone that hasn’t been to Cayman before.
Picked us up at the cruise terminal, did a nice tour of the famous Tortola Rum Cake Factory, then dropped us off at 7-mile beach.
NOTE: No beach chairs, umbrella or food and drinks are included.
