Top Bordeaux Wine Making Workshops

Learn all about wine in one of the world's most famous wine cities with this experience. You'll head to a local wine bar, where your expert instructor will go over the basics of wine production and terminology and let you in on some tricks of the trade. Throughout the course of your experience, you'll taste three different wines, served with charcuterie.

Experience the true taste of Bordeaux and taste the region's famous wine at a local winery, just steps from Place Gambetta. With two brothers as hosts, you will taste three traditional grape varieties while listening to simple but interesting explanations about wine and its production. Other perks include a platter of Basque country cheese and ham.

Creating your own custom wine We allow our customers to create their own cuvée by mixing different grape varieties according to their tastes. Each bottle is unique, customized with labels created by the customer, and carefully sealed.

During this workshop, we have chosen to introduce you to exceptional products such as caviar, foie gras, and other emblematic delicacies of French excellence, paired with prestigious Grands Vins de Bordeaux. You might be surprised by some unexpected combinations and the pure alchemy that arises from matching the right food with the right wine. Pairing food and wine goes beyond the general principles and success requires curiosity and even courage! It’s all about appreciating both the wine and food separately, as well as together. This interactive workshop will give you the opportunity to engage, ask questions, and share your experience in a warm, friendly, and open atmosphere.

Immerse yourself in Bordeaux’s wine history, walk its UNESCO-listed streets, and enjoy a sommelier-led wine and cheese tasting on this gourmet walking tour. In the afternoon, meet in central Bordeaux and set off on foot: you’ll explore its atmospheric neighborhoods, will learn about its vinous history at the wine tasting, will glimpse its historic landmarks, and more. Afterwards, finish with a tutored tasting and pairing session in an evocative location.

Live a unique oenological experience in an urban cellar in the heart of Darwin in Bordeaux. This activity immerses you in a participatory workshop, where you become an actor in the creation of a wine. Accompanied by Maxime, oenologist, and Annaëlle, assistant cellar master, you discover the behind-the-scenes winemaking during a visit to the cellar and a tasting of cuvées accompanied by a cheese board. Scout through the characteristics of the main Bordeaux grape varieties to understand what makes the region’s wines rich: blending. What makes this experience special is that you move from theory to practice. From different monovines, you create your own blend, bottle your wine and leave with your own personalised cuvée. Between pedagogy, tasting and creation, this immersion in an urban cellar in the heart of Bordeaux offers an original and interactive approach to the world of wine.

Create your own wine and leave with your bottle ! After a tour of the chateau,,head to the blending workshop. Like our cuvée Symbiose, born from the blending of different vintages, we will guide you in the creation of your own wine. You will discover the secrets of blending to create your own nectar and then take home your personalized bottle as a souvenir. An original, fun and educational wine activity!

This unique experience will allow you to learn more about cooperage as well as your tastes in wine (and especially if you like wood in wine, typical aromas of Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rioja wines, etc.) We promise you a truly unusual experience since we will make you taste the same wine 6 times for 6 different experiences. Better still, we invite you to put yourself in the shoes of the winemaker and create (assemble) your ideal wine. Thanks to this workshop, you will (almost) never make a mistake again with your wine purchases.

Visiting Bordeaux and want to immerse yourself in the world of wine? Let Guadalupe, a Certified CMS Sommelier and Diploma WSET holder, guide you through and explain everything you need to know about Bordeaux wines. In a 1:30-hour tasting workshop, you will learn about the region of Bordeaux and its appellations, the different soils and wine classifications, how to read a label, winegrowing and winemaking techniques, the grapes used and the specific blends that make Bordeaux unique wines. You will taste 4 wines (tasting pour of 1 Cremant de Bordeaux, 1 White and 2 Reds) paired with 3 French cheeses. Let your senses be enlightened and discover the aromas and flavours that make Bordeaux wines so famous. Add a special option and taste 3 more Premium wines Grand Cru Classe and Classified.
