Flexible Itinerary, Excellent Tour
Excellent tour with Albert, it seems they offer multiple options on here but all the same, which is great. He was friendly and informative.
As it's a small group, he was flexible with timings and accommodating everyone. Highlight was the Jeita Grotto, a spectacular visit and a must-see (no photos allowed at that site).

A breathtaking journey through Lebanon’s history and nature!
This tour was absolutely fantastic! The contrast between the vibrant energy of Beirut, the stunning natural beauty of the Jeita Grotto caves, and the ancient charm of Byblos was incredible. I was blown away by the views and the history at every stop. The food along the way was 'wow'—truly authentic and delicious. It’s an experience that is worth every second. If you visit Lebanon, this tour is a must!

Fantastic Day Tour with Albert
Today’s tour was one of the best I’ve taken in a long time, and Albert was an outstanding guide. He was punctual, professional, patient, and communicated excellently, managing a packed itinerary with ease. Highlights included Our Lady of Lebanon, the cave and cable car, and especially Byblos—great lunch, and a beautiful, clean, and charming souq. Highly recommend this tour and Albert as a guide; I’d love to return for more tours.

My guide was Albert , he is amazing , explained everything so well! Only disappointment was that you can't take pictures inside the jeita grotto, but anyway the full adventure just amazing! Fantastic landscapes, Byblos amazing colorful town, and great history! Recommend it for sure!

Great value for money....
Great value for money. Albert was very competent as a driver and a guide. He provided all the information and explained a lot about the life in Lebanon and historical context. He also advised, how to safe our money, what is worth purchasing and what is not. After exploring Byblos we went on a lunch in a local restaurant, which was amazing. For $20 I got a fresh fish meal, many delicious starters and unlimited soft drinks.

People Also Ask
Is visiting Jeita Grotto worth it?
Yes. Even if you’re not keen on spelunking, you'll still experience the sheer scale of this 5.6-mile (9-kilometer) cave complex. Some of the caverns were used in neolithic times. The stalactites and stalagmites alone are worth the price of admission, and there’s also an underground waterfall.
How long does it take to tour Jeita Grotto?
Count on tours taking around two hours. The complex is divided into two parts—the Lower Grotto and the Upper Grotto, which are connected. Tours take visitors to both sections. The Upper Grotto is only reachable by boat ride, while you can tour the Lower Grotto on foot.
How should you dress in Jeita Grotto?
Layer up! The underground cave complex is considerably cooler than above-ground temperatures, making for a refreshing respite in the blistering hot Lebanese summers. But if you’re prone to getting chilly, bring a sweater or light jacket. You’ll also want sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
Is Jeita Grotto good for kids?
Yes. Jeita Grotto is a hit with kids of all ages, including toddlers. Children enjoy the boat ride along the underground river. Visitors can also take a cable car to visit the Lower Grotto. Even better, children under 4 can visit for free, and older kids get discounted admission.
Do you need reservations to visit Jeita Grotto?
Typically, no. Jeita Grotto is open year-round, and visitors can usually book tickets for the next departing tour upon arrival. Don’t turn up on a Monday when the site is closed. Avoid winter if you want to see the Lower Grotto, as high water levels can lead to closures.
Can you take photos inside Jeita Grotto?
No. Photography of any kind is strictly forbidden. While it may seem unfair not to be able to photograph the cathedral-like rock formations, this measure is to protect the limestone structures from flash photography. Visitors will be asked to put cameras and phones in a locker before their tour.
