Waterworld Ayia Napa

First time visit to the water park in Ayia Napa. We always come to Cyprus at the same time every year and always pay a visit to the waterpark in Paphos. Paid £181.00 for a family of 4 which is a lot more than we have paid in Paphos so checked online prices for both parks as i know prices increase and found Ayia Napa to be significantly more expensive than Paphos, so half expected it to be a lot better. Firstly, very clean and staff all very helpful, lovely layout, plenty of sunbeds and well maintained, manicured grounds. Cabanas can be hired around the wave pool for 50 euros. Lockers 7 euros each ( 2 euros refundable) but be aware the lockers are small and as a family of four, we struggled to fit our all stuff into 2. Was very disapointed that some of the rides were closed and others opened later or closed earlier in the day. Not sure if this was because it was late October and end of season, but never found this in Paphos waterpark. Feel this should be mentioned when booking or on arrival as for the price paid, i would expect all rides to be open. Overall, the park is great if you have a young family but with 2 teenage boys, there were rides with height restrictions/ weight restrictions that they couldnt go on and felt the rides are designed more for younger children. Felt we were ready to leave early afternoon after 3 hours in the park, normally we are waiting to be kicked out at closing time. Would not return but imagine its great fun with younger kids albeit a costly day out.

Great trip to Varosha

Great time on the top deck of this bus, it’s very windy! Our guide Hayley was so knowledgeable & kept informing us about the areas we drove through. It did take an hour & half to drive from Ayia Napa to Varosha picking people up on the way. Once there we had nearly 2hrs to look around which you need. There is a lot of walking but you can hire bikes, scooters etc. There are plenty of toilets & your given a map which explains everything. Big thanks to John too our driver for such an enjoyable & informative day. Well worth the visit.

The best experience

I had the most wonderful time with Temper Divers, their instructors Claire and Evie were friendly, kind and made sure both I and my partner felt comfortable during this experience. Initially my partner struggled going under the water but Evie made everything seem doable with her calm and reassuring approach. My partner, who nearly gave up, ended up swimming down and loving the experience once he conquered his fears. I however, instantly fell in love with being under the water and swimming around the beautiful sealife. We had videos and pictures of our experience to remember it by. Thank you to our amazing photographer and instructor who made everything memorable. I would give this 1000 stars if I could and the only thing I would have done differently, was to book this at the start of my holiday as I would have gone again and again to discover more stunning underwater destinations with Temper Divers.

What a great experience, I travelled with my son and we both felt that it was one of the best trips we participated in. Fun, great views, beautiful nature, far from crowded places. Wonderful day would highly recommend

This tour was the absolute highlight of our holiday in Cyprus, and we cannot recommend it enough! From start to finish, everything was so thoughtfully planned, and our guide, Georgina, truly made the experience unforgettable. She was warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, bringing every stop to life with her stories and insights. The tour is run in a small, intimate group – just six of us plus Georgina – which made it feel personal and special. Our first stop was a charming village where we sampled homemade jams prepared by local women. Each flavor came with its own story, and the hawthorn jam was such a standout that we couldn’t resist buying a big jar to take home. Along the way, we made several delightful stops, each offering something unique and authentic. Lunch was at the incredible Maria’s, set in a stunning mountain location. We enjoyed traditional Cypriot dishes baked in a clay oven – one of the most memorable meals of our trip. The day finished at a donkey sanctuary, where we got to feed the donkeys and taste a variety of farm products made from donkey milk and olives grown on-site. It was a beautiful and heartwarming way to end the tour. What makes this experience so special is not just the food and sights, but Georgina’s passion and care. She made us feel like we were exploring with a friend who knows all the best local secrets. This tour was such a highlight that we’re already planning to do it again on our next visit to Cyprus. Thank you, Georgina, for a truly wonderful day – we appreciated every moment!

Excellent!

Our guide Olga was a superstar. She’s a wealth of information about Cyprus’ history, culture, mythology etc., and a great story teller. The entire itinerary is well planned and organised, ensuring ample time in all the stops. The sites chosen are also really rich and interesting. Definitely worth a trip to anyone visiting Cyprus.

The most enjoyable boat trip

I would highly recommend this boat trip; it was well organized with a very friendly relaxed and multiple language crew making it easy and comfortable for everyone. The boat was not overcrowded as I have found that some of them can be, so there was plenty of room for everyone. We sailed on time and were given details of interesting sites along the coastline, with the crew slowing the boat to allow guests to take photos. We stopped twice, about an hour each time for guests to swim in the ocean, with life jackets supplied if needed. Although it is not guaranteed two of us did see a Turtle whist swimming, Amazing. Lunch was well organised with plenty for all guests, we had a Gluten free guest in our party, and I was assured that the chicken, potatoes and veg, was all prepared separately and safe for him. There was a Vegetarian option available for those who ordered ahead of time. The bar on board was well equipped and reasonably priced with Ice creams also available to buy. The only advice I can give, and this is only my own personal option and in no way a negative towards the trip or the organisers. With this trip being about a 5-hour day, feel it might be less suitable for young children under 5. We had 2 toddlers on our boat (aged about 2 and 4) who seemed quite bored, miserable and whingey for most of the day.
