Well done Big country
Organisation was very efficient and the staff welcoming us at River City were helpful and friendly. Timings were kept to and the lunch hault stop was well chosen and very clean.

Nice and historical day
It was a great day but hot. The AC in the van was appreciated. The guide, Cake, was very knowledgeable and easy to approach for questions. I especially enjoyed the last stop. I learnt a lot.

John was very...
John was very knowledgeable on all the temples we went to. He was able to answer a lot of questions during our tour. The tour provided enough time to look around each site

A Lond Day - But Worthwhile
A long day but very worthwhile. Kit, our outstanding tour guide is a wealth of knowledge and explained the history of the region in depth but easy to understand. Be sure to wear your most comfortable walking shoes.

Bangkok
Wat Phra Si Sanphet temple in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
  • You don’t need Ayutthaya tickets as there is an entrance fee to enter the historical park or city.

  • Most visitors spend at least a half-day exploring the vast, 715-acre (289-hectare) city site.

  • If biking, note that traffic lights are missing from some intersections—be sure to look both ways, and always assume cars and trucks have the right of way. Finally, always wear a helmet.

  • The ruined temples, abandoned in the 18th century, are still considered sacred. To be respectful, wear long pants or skirts, don’t show bare shoulders, and always remove shoes before entering a temple building.
