Don’t miss the Avignon countryside!
Avignon is spectacular but so is the countryside surrounding it. We were lucky with a beautiful fall day, a very non busy part of the season, and an excellent guide Emile. He was very informative, entertaining, and flexible to accommodate special requests!

Perfect day for wine
My husband and I had a great time on this tour. There were only 6 of us which was much better than a large group. Coline was very knowledgeable about the area and the wines. After our 2 stops in the morning we had lunch at a delightful restaurant. Coline was very helpful when we had to depart before the end of the tour. She was able to arrange a ride back to our hotel. We loved all the wines we sampled and are looking forward to trying them again once our shipment arrives. I would definitely recommend Coline and this tour.

An amazing Van Gogh tour—even for non-fans!
The Van Gogh tour was absolutely amazing! The guide demonstrated a deep understanding of the artist and his works, presenting everything in an engaging and easy-to-understand way—especially regarding his use of color and painting style. I loved how they shared unique insights from their own life living in Provence. Even though I’m not a huge Van Gogh fan, I learned so much and truly appreciated it.

C'est cheese!
Before getting to the review, I should note that I was a bit confused by where to meet. This may not be an issue for anyone else, but if the instructions mention a ladder, look for a staircase.
The tour was quite nice. Maryna gave us talks on the history of Avignon including the Palais des Papes. Then we had a variety of tiny amazing tastes in a local shop within the walls of Avignon such as lavender honey and a pistachio spread. We moved on to a small cheese plate, and for dinner had roasted cheese with salad and fries. We had about a half dozen choices for dessert, and all of us enjoyed their selections. Arguably the best part of the evening was conversing with Maryna on a variety of topics. She was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and just a great guide. Many thanks from all of us!

Our guide Ann was the best.
This was a new tour for us. We once again toured with Ann! She was great the first time, and even better the second time. She's very informative. Just keep an eye of the time at stops. It's easy to 'get lost' in these cute small towns.
I wish the lunch break and tour of these small villages were longer. Viator take note. 45 - 60 minutes isn't enough. Make it a longer tour.
The 8 of us really hit it off. It helped the 5 of the 8 rode with Ann 2 days prior. There was a woman from Sydney that was funny, and was easy to make friends with.

Fantastic overview!
★★★★★
Emily was fantastic. She was warm and engaging, but not in that overly polished “tour guide nice” way. She seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience and sharing the best of Provence with us.
We hit all the stops we were hoping to see, and the day gave us a really great overview of the region without ever feeling rushed. Our group was small, just eight people total, which made it feel relaxed and personal. Emily kept everything moving smoothly while still giving us enough time to actually enjoy each place. Such a great way to spend the day and see a lot of Provence in a short amount of time. Highly recommend.

Outstanding tour of Provence
This was such a great experience- seeing the best sights, small towns and villages of Provence so easily and all in one day. We were driven and guided by Kelsey - she is incredibly knowledgeable and was a joy to listen to and be with for the day. Highly recommend this tour .

Educational, low key, and fun!
Our tour was supposed to be Roman ruins and wine tasting, but some of the ruins were closed due to weather. Our guide Anne created a slightly altered itinery (less ruins, more wine!) which was great. Anne was very informative about the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region, its history, and its culture. Anne was very knowledgeable about the grapes, winemaking, and the associated regional rules. The wine shops we visited were lovely, educational and very low pressure from a sales standpoint.

Sit back, relax and enjoy beautiful scenery, wonderful wines and a charming guide!
Nicely paced tour with time to enjoy 5 wine varieties at 2 vineyards. More vineyards would have been too much.
The stops were informative and the wines delicious.
Joe was a tremendous guide. Fun, full of energy and enthusiasm and very well informed guide.
We also visited the ruins of the Pope’s summer house with spectacular vistas.
It was an experience you don’t want to miss when visiting this world class wine country.

Highlight of our trip!
We had a great time on the wine tour with Eric! He was an excellent and funny guide and navigated us easily to all of the different locations. We visited one winery, one wine cave with a tasting by a master sommelier, and some grape fields. The history and context along with the tastings made this a highlight of our trip. The wine cave tasting with Guy was our favorite part - he was excellent! Merci Eric and team for a wonderful time.

Plus sightseeing in the Pont du Gard is amazing!
When thinking about how to get to the Pont du Gard, isn't it a waste of time and effort to get there and back on your own? So we looked for a tour and ended up on this minivan tour. The fact that it was only a two-minute walk from the hotel to the meeting point was also a decisive factor. I joined the Pont du Gard with the feeling that I should feel comfortable going there, but Saint-Remy, known as a city associated with Van Gogh, is a really beautiful city and I wanted to come back slowly and free. I didn’t know anything about Les Beaux and I joined it, but it was a mind-blowing, or grand historical site. This was a free tour without a guide, but I climbed to the top with all my might. The view from there was amazing. Les Beaux also has many attractive shops, so some of them just did their shopping, but I felt lucky to be taken to a great place. Finally, Pont du Gard was a magnificent scale aqueduct, with only World Heritage Site. It was a great tour and my guide Matilda was very kind and nice.

A must-do tour if you’re an Engineer!
Highly recommend this tour! It was the highlight for my husband, a Mechanical Engineer. Nathalie was a very knowledgeable guide and an excellent driver around the beautiful Provencal countryside & villages. The small group was ideal. Everything was perfect!
