It was amazing. We saw bisons and Old Faithful was amazing. We saw some gorgeous waterfalls. Lisa was an amazing guide for the day. She spent so much time explaining everything and making sure we didn’t miss anything. The mud volcano was so cool. We loved every minute with Lisa.

The owner, Tin, was fantastic. She has an incredible knowledge base of the park’s wildlife and geology. She knew where/when to go to certain areas, provided nice binoculars and had a scope she would set up for us to observe bison and elk. She tailored our tour to the areas we were interested in seeing. She was a happy, bubbly fountain of information. Would highly recommend this tour if you are interested in seeing and learning about Yellowstone.

We had a fabulous tour of the Yellowstone lower loop with an incredible tour guide Mike. He picked us up at the designated location and took us on a whirlwind trip! The advantage of a private tour is that you can get to all the locations with ease and see so much! Our tour included a delicious lunch which we had at a beautiful, secluded lakeside spot. Just a wonderful day! Highly recommend!

It was so educational and fun to spend the day with Mike. He is super knowledgeable of sites in Yellowstone and wildlife. Tin was an amazing guide and took us to all the places that suited what we wanted to see and achieve. We were able to see wolves and a grizzly bear only because Tin knew where they were at that time eating a dead bison 🦬 it was super cool. We didn't have to worry about missing anything or parking . Highly recommended for sure. Thanks Tin.

My sister and I have had lots of guides but never our own, personal guide. The long drives in Yellowstone zipped by as Kat filled the time answering all our questions and so much more. Her knowledge of the area, animals, history and landscape was endless and fascinating. She even tailored the visit to match our interests. And her command of the English language was impeccable. We had a wonderful day in Yellowstone with our guide, Clara! She communicated with us in advance of pick-up and planned the day around our interests. She drove us to see all the highlights of the park while sharing her knowledge during the ride. We rode in a clean, comfortable vehicle, and the provided lunch was tasty. Overall, Sky's the Limit tours exceeded our expectations.

Our family of four embarked on an extraordinary journey through Yellowstone National Park, courtesy of Sky's the Limit, a woman-owned tour company booked via Viator. This private tour, entering through the West entrance, was nothing short of phenomenal.
Our guide, Kat, was the heart of this exceptional experience. Her vast knowledge of the park's history and geology, coupled with her engaging storytelling, brought Yellowstone to life. Kat's personable nature made us feel like we were exploring with a knowledgeable friend rather than a tour guide.
Tour highlights:
• Old Faithful eruption (perfectly timed!). We ate our box lunches onsite at the Old Faithful Inn, which was a wonderful experience.
• Mud Volcano and the mysterious Dragon's Mouth Spring. The boardwalk skirted the hot mud springs for great viewing. The Dragon’s Mouth is actually a cave with steam bellowing out and with sounds like a dragon is in the cave!
• Breathtaking Canyon Falls (taller than Niagara!). It was a bit scary looking out over the deep canyon at the fall, but it was well worth the picture-taking opportunity!
• Continental Divide at 8,262 ft elevation. This was the high point of our tour.
• The Lake Yellowstone Hotel and Yellowstone Lake (the oldest hotel in the park). An elegant hotel with a rich history of visitors and excellent fishing in the huge lake of 140 miles of coastline.
• Grand Prismatic Spring's mesmerizing colors. We hiked along the river and felt some of the hot water bubbling up into the river along its edge. At the springs, we enjoyed seeing multiple colors of steam, waters and land around the springs. We even felt the warm steam blow over us at one point!
• Firehole Falls' unique beauty. This was another beautiful fall that was smaller than Canyon Falls but was much closer to us so you could appreciate it’s details.
The tour's flexibility allowed us to adjust our time at each site, ensuring we got the most out of every stop. Though not specifically an animal tour, we were treated to sightings of mule deer, bison, and elk.
Sky's the Limit's attention to detail was impressive. From our pre-ordered box lunches to the variety of snacks and water provided, our comfort was always a priority. Kat's expertise in timing our visits meant we experienced each wonder at its best.
This tour offered a perfect blend of natural wonders, geological marvels, and wildlife encounters. It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that words can't fully capture. If you're looking for an immersive, personalized Yellowstone adventure, Sky's the Limit is the way to go. They turn a park visit into an unforgettable journey of discovery!

We saw bears from a safe distance and our guides had scopes so we could see up close. We watched old faithful, saw the grand prismatic, and learned about them too. Our guides were so friendly and knowledgeable and that made the experience even better. It was a great trip!

Tin was an amazing guide! She catered to our interests and activity level, and we saw so many wonderful sites and wildlife! We were even able to see a grizzly from safe distance with her scope and binoculars. She also had fantastic recommendations for the rest of our trip. Lunch and snack selection were great. The tour was awesome from start to finish. Guide was excellent (Tin!) and we appreciated her enthusiasm and keen knowledge of the park’s history and wildlife. Lunch was delish - and she even took photos throughout the day. Great for ALL ages. Our group was between 11 - 81. Highly recommend!

Our private tour with Mike was perfect. Mike loves Yellowstone Park and knew everything!!! He knows all the secret places and all the info!! Go early, as he suggested , you will not be disappointed. If we went on our own, we would of went home early. When leaving the park, a grizzly bear crossed the road in front of us!!!! Everything was beautiful!!! Thanks Mike for a fabulous tour!!!

We had a great experience with our guide Mike. He picked us up promptly at the hotel. He was informative and accommodating to my dad who is in his 70s. We traveled to the northern rim of the park. We saw bison, elk, antelope, a grizzly and 2 cubs and a moose! It was a great experience!!! Thanks Mike!

Very well organized, well timed lunch and restroom breaks, guide Lisa very knowledgeable without overloading us with information, very good with children, bringing coloring book for 5 year old and asking age appropriate questions for her. Felt that we saw major sites and came away with a much deeper knowledge of this national park. Lunch prepared well to suit individual wants/needs. Highly recommend.

Seeing all the native animals in their natural habitat, the amazing land formations, and the interesting vegetation was some of the highlights of our tour. Lisa was so engaging, tons of data points - historic, scientific and fun facts. She’s extremely knowledgeable about the species in the park. We saw bison, elk, eagles, and the elusive coyote of Yellowstone. Old Faithful, Prismatic Falls and the Grand Canyon of the Park. Definitely worthwhile tour!!! So courteous and accommodating. 5 star rating!!!
