It’s a very well organized tour. I would recommend all inclusive option coz Journey behind the falls and voyage to the falls is something everyone must experience. Overall we had a great time. Bus was comfortable and our guide Haroon was very friendly and helpful.

Our guide Haroon was wonderful, funny, and a great driver and guide throughout the day. We pre-purchased a boat tour with our tickets and had no heads up that the boat tours weren't yet open (they open May 1 in Canada, even though the US boats were in the water already).
They provided a substitute activity in Niagara parks but we weren't that interested in it. So we didn't feel like we got exactly what we paid for, but it was still wonderful to see the falls. It's a small bus (very bumpy, be warned!), which made for a nice small group.

The boat was not operating due to residual ice from the winter months, which is completely understandable. However, the tour operator will not offer refunds for your boat portion of the ticket should you book the tour + boat and the boat is not operating. Extremely frustrating and poorly communicated. Our guide was great and the falls are beautiful. Just research better what you’re booking I suppose.

As the Niagara City Cruises boat tour is weather-dependent, it is currently scheduled to officially open for the season on MAY 1st, 2026. Whenever the boat is not operational due to ice conditions, we automatically provide the Journey Behind the Falls as a replacement activity to ensure our guests still get a premier experience at the base of the falls.
Regarding your refund, we did process a goodwill refund for the boat portion of your ticket as soon as you raised your concerns. We aim for transparency in our communications and regret that this wasn't clearly understood during your booking process. We hope that despite the seasonal limitations of the boat, you enjoyed the rest of your day at the Falls

Coach was comfortable, but details of booking were misleading. Inclusion mentioned Journey behind the fall is replaced if horshoe bot is not running, but driver mentioned only transportation included. Not good.

I would like to gently clarify a detail regarding your booking to help clear up the confusion. Based on our records, it appears that the "Journey Behind the Falls" add-on was not selected as an option during the checkout process.
Our standard transportation-only bookings cover the travel and guide services, while the inclusions you mentioned apply specifically to those who select the "Attractions" bundle. If that option isn't chosen, the driver is only authorized to provide the transportation portion of the tour.
We certainly want our descriptions to be as clear as possible, so we appreciate you pointing out where the wording felt misleading. We’ll look into making that distinction even sharper for future guests.

This was an awesome experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable, personable, and funny. I was worried about going to Niagara Falls in December because of the cold. It was a beautiful experience in winter. I enjoyed the Journey behind the Falls and the boat tour next to the falls. I even had time to stop at the Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls and get a t shirt! Highly recommend this tour!

Great immersive tour with boat tour included. We also did have the option to add the Journey behind the falls option and the tower. You will get wet but that’s part of the fun.

They will sell you tickets to the boat, behind the falls and tower but they are more expensive than if you bought them yourself. But you have to buy through them so you can go with group or not go.

Came to Toronto for the first time and was very excited about the Niagara tour. The options Viator had available were great and it was helpful to read the reviews from others to decide which one we wanted to do. We were a group of 4 and decided on the standard bus tour that included the horn blower boat. We stayed in Toronto and traveled via public transportation to the pick up spot, which was relatively easy. Our tour guide, along with another who drove a different bus were both very friendly and helpful. We got to do the syrup tasting, grab a quick bite and get nice photos before heading to the falls. The boat was a great experience and we used the rest of the hours we had to explore local food options away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. Would recommend this company to anyone traveling to the falls!
