Beat the crowds and head out to Molokini in the late morning with this snorkeling tour. You'll head out from the Kihei Boat Ramp, making your way to the crater via boat. Depending on conditions, you may be able to snorkel both the crater and the back wall before heading back to Maui.

Free parking at street level (paved on your left and dirt on your right). Carefully walk down through the lower level (trucks & trailers only) and go to the picnic table to the right of the docks. Our staff is in black Blue Water Rafting logo attire. Check in: 15-30 minutes before departure time.

We had a fantastic time on this tour! Captain Brandon and Austin were great guides and super fun. It was a windy and choppy day but that made the ride out and back that much more fun. We were in good hands. The express tour was just the right amount of time. 10/10 would do again.

It was amazing. We have snorkeled at Molokini several times but this was by far the best! We learned so much about the crater and surrounding islands. Would definitely repeat!

It was a smaller more intimate experience and quicker for those who don’t want to spend half the day out at sea. I don’t know how to swim but the boat kept a close eye on us and followed us around closely as we swam around the entire inside of the crater. I never once felt I was not safe, they provided all swim gear and floats as well as constantly kept close vigilance on the group something I feel a larger boat can’t provide. If you ever needed attention they were close enough to ask them for it at any time. The water is choppier the later you go but we were the only boat out there and I imagine in the morning it gets crazy busy with multiple boats and dozens of people, so keep in mind less people but choppier waters however you can still see the fish just fine and swimming the back wall is unlikely the later you go. If you want smaller crowds and more freedom to snorkel knowing you are being watched closely at all times then do this your. Also know no turtles will be seen at molokini, it’s strictly a fish zone.

We had an amazing time snorkeling with Captain Joey and Angela. We basically had Molokini to ourselves and saw so many fish! Some of the group even saw a small reef shark. They have floaty belts for those who want a super easy time snorkeling too!
Will definitely be doing this again the next time I visit Kihei!

The 2 hour Snorkeling Adventure was perfect! Chris was a lot of fun! The raft ride to the crater was fast and exhilarating! My husband had a little motion sickness, but I loved it. We were provided water or cans of juice, equipment, and 3 spots to snorkel. He allowed us to go with or without equipment or use our own. As I was an inexperienced snorkeler, wasn’t sure what to wear, but, anything goes… I wore bikini and others wore shorts and tshirt. The meeting spot is shaded and we had the option of putting our belongings and shoes in a waterproof bay on the raft. We could sit on the side and hold on to the ropes,if wanted. The water was dark blue on the surface, but clear when in it. 2 hours was a perfect time to snorkel. Beautiful fish and choral!

It was a great experience, Captain Brandon and Angelica were great! They always made sure all of us were ok and we were having fun! The snorkeling was great! We get to see a lot fish and some octopus too!

After a very bumpy and adventurous (albeit uncomfortable) boat ride we arrived at Molakini. The snorkeling was just incredible and the later time (1030 to 1230) meant that we had the crater to ourselves. The second stop to see the drop off into the abyss was a memorable experience. The crew was nice and helpful. All in all it was a great trip

Be aware this small group trip could get cancelled in the last minute due to insufficient participants. All other participants already arrived at the Kihei pier. Everyone was disappointed. The operator shouldve set a deadline when participants could cancel their trip (which is 24h if booked on viator for example), so to prevent this from happening again. We are so upset for missing the chance to see Molokini and our schedule didn't have extra time to make up.

Angela and Mike were amazing! the boat ride was so fun there and back. Blue Water Rafting really knows the best time to go, we had the crater to ourselves. Snorkeling at Molokini was a highlight of our trip to Maui.

The perfect length of time! Quick, beautiful trip out to Molokini, snorkel for an hour, then a tour around the backside of the crater and back to the harbor. Huge fish and a good variety of sea life!

Captain Brandon took us on one amazing adventure. The tour started off with him spotting a whale so we spent extra time watching this majestic creature! What an unexpected highlight. Then we saw the lava caves and went snorkeling in 3 different spots! Captain Brandon was extremely knowledgeable and funny. He took great care of us and even showed us the Finding Nemo spots! It was my wife’s best snorkeling and boat trip! This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip to Maui and Hawaii! If you can go on this tour you should but definitely ask for Captain Brandon!

I highly recommend this experience! We had the whole crater to ourselves for snorkeling. The snorkeling gear was the best we have used. My husband and I and our 2 teenagers all agreed it was the best snorkeling trip we have done. We were also lucky and saw some whales on the way back to port! Bonus!!

This was the highlight of my time in Maui! Brian & crew were great, and the inflatable boat was a blast!! We (5 in our group, maybe 18 -20 total on boat) saw several whales, and the snorkeling was incredible. I would absolutely do this same excursion again or even a couple times on my next visit! If you’re looking for a shorter trip with a fast fun boat, definitely do this! It was my favorite part of our 5 day trip.

Quick, fast boat ride with a small passenger group! Bonus sighting of whales and the crew did a great job of pointing out features on island and looking for other wild life. With the faster tour, it still gave time to enjoy the day on the beach in Maui
