Giannis was the perfect guide for our day on this beautiful island. His intimate knowledge of the Island really made the day. He was raised to there and so knows all the interesting places to see.

Giannis made certain that we saw the important parts of Chania and had lots of pictures to help us remember. He was courteous and informed and always interested in our comfort. Honestly, my only concern was that we spent too much time at the beginning of the day at the olive oil factory and didn’t get enough exposure to the city and Minoan history later on because we had a time constraint to return to our cruise.

Exceptional private tour of Chania

We had a fantastic time with Giannis! He arrived early, greeting us with a broad smile and a spotless, comfortable Mercedes van playing relaxing music. The day was perfectly paced to avoid the large tour bus crowds. Giannis clearly knows all the right people and hidden spots—he brought the sights, smells, and character of the area to life. From wine and olive oil tastings at the monastery to grilled octopus by the sea at the Venetian harbor, every moment was thoughtfully planned. We left wishing we had another couple of days to explore more with him. Highly recommended!
