Please proceed to the bus loading zone across the hotel just along Harry Hays Building on 4th Avenue. For Airport pick-up, please check in at our counter at the Ground Transportation Booth between Exit Door 4 and 5 of the Domestic Arrivals Terminal. If no one is present, please proceed at the pick-up location - Bus Bay/Pillar #15, across Exit Door 4 of the Arrivals Level - Domestic Terminal of the airport. Hope this helps. Friendly safe driver and...

Friendly safe driver and on time. Dropped us at our hotel which was a bit out of the way, so that was a bonus of being in a smaller vehicle. Mini bus was a little tired but comfortable.

Banff shuttle service

Confirm who is parked at pilar #15! Shuttle van parked at designated pickup location at my scheduled departure time was from a different company. Check and confirm or you may get a surprise. My driver/shuttle was parked in different spot and did not have my reservation on his list. I showed him my confirmation/ticket and he had to call office to confirm he should take me. Driver was very friendly and apologized for confusion. Also, a very good driver.

Not an Ideal way to start a Banff vacation

Travelers note...if you are meeting this Fairy Bus shuttle at YYC, be sure to go to the lowest level of the airport and then cross the traffic lanes to find the meeting place. When I originally couldn't find the meeting place, the customer support for this ride was awful...no-one to answer the phone; received a call-back from an answering service and when call was cut off, no-attempt to contact me again. The driver was friendly and very conscientious about looking for passengers who were supposed to be on this shared ride. Several passengers didn't make the ride...could be because they didn't have time to explore YYC (or future stops along the way) looking for the Fairy bus like I did. Once we arrived in Banff, the driver tried to be helpful but didn't seem to know much about the area. ???

For everyone's future reference, the pick-up location is at Pillar/Stall/Bay #15, opposite of Exit Door 4 on the Domestic Arrivals Terminal. Travellers could also check in at our counter/booth between Exit Door 4 and 5. Passengers are advised to be at the pick-up location at least five minutes before scheduled departure time. We are sorry if no one was able to help you via our customer hotline. During this season, we are receiving higher than normal number of phone calls. Fairy Bus's really exceptional staff provided us "above and beyond" service in our travel from Calgary to Banff

We found "Fairy Bus" the best-priced and well-scheduled van service traveling from Calgary to Banff, an excellent option even though we were not leaving for Banff directly from the airport. That is, we'd actually flown into YYC two days earlier to begin our "driving-free" 2-week Western Canada adventure. For convenience we stayed in a nearby airport hotel, from which we could use local public transportation to explore downtown Calgary; we then returned by our hotel's free airport shuttle to catch the Fairy Bus to Banff. That probably diverges from the usual approach to the inter-city transport, but we would recommend that other travelers consider the Fairy Bus as a means of getting to Banff or places en route if making a visit to Calgary itself, not only upon initial arrival in YYC. The key point we'd emphasize in this review is the difference that a team of really attentive, kind company employees can make to an experience. We found the check-in/dispatch staff at the Fairy Bus desk inside the airport very friendly and helpful, with one staff member coming out to the loading area to make sure we and other passengers got on okay. "Angela" was one such employee I recall, but I want to highly commend also others there and especially the driver (whose name I regrettably failed to get). He not only delivered us safely and in good time to Banff, but he also went far beyond expectations when he found favorite item I'd accidentally left behind in the van. He immediately informed the office staff (which seems a very good team with the drivers), who in turn immediately called me, at the very moment I'd discovered the item missing. The driver then went out of his way to return the rescued item to the desk of our hotel. (which wasn't the drop off hotel). Even our hotel desk staff were deeply impressed with that degree of professionalism and service! We're really glad we booked the Fairy Bus company service (there do seem to be multiple companies to choose among) and would highly recommend it to others traveling between Calgary and Banff.
