Gabriel and driver Maritoñi were excellent! It was a long long loooong drive … but so WORTHY! Bruges is so beautiful and unique that it deserves a visit or stay if you have time! We definitely recommend this tour with Buendia tours they were very organized and friendly. We had an amazing free time to roam around the restaurants and stores and then head back to Amsterdam (driving back was shorter…lol) . It was a nice day in Bruges!

Don’t miss going to Brugge!

Do not miss the opportunity to travel to Brugge! The bus driver did an excellent job to get us to and from. But Catherine was the absolute best at keeping us informed of the history and special things to do in Brugge! Truly a day we will remember!

Very long bus ride and very short time in Bruges. At the end of the walking tour you are left on your own and you have to make it back to the bus alone. It is a very winding city and you get confused. Thank God our guide Eduardo took pity of my husband and I and he walked us back. If it wouldn’t have been for his kindness, we would have gotten lost. He was a very good tour guide, very informative

Worth the drive

Our tour guide Gabriel was kind, patient and informative. This would have been a huge hassle if I planned it myself. We would certainly visit Bruge again.

Simply Beautiful

This was truly one of the highlights of our trip. This beautiful little place is rich with history and full of incredible stories. Our tour guide Gabrielle and our bus driver made the entire experience fantastic. They handled the unexpected traffic from King’s Day with ease, keeping everything running smoothly.

Great information and beautiful city. Punctual and comfortable bus ride. Guides and driver were professional

Bruges is a delightful surprise!

Charisma_A, Apr 2026
I never expected so much on the trip as I don't know the place so much but at the end I was in awe. Bruges is surprisingly amazing. Imagine walking into a medieval time wherein you'll feel & imagine it in every corner. This is highly recommended. And to our guide (Gabriel of Buendia) thank you.

Mixed Day….

Gayle_T, Apr 2026
Loved the city of Bruges! So beautiful and historic, with lots of restaurants and shops and other things to do (from carriage rides to climbing the bell tower). The history of the city is fascinating, including the lace-making and chocolate-making which are famous! Our guide for the walking tour was excellent! Unfortunately, our guide on the (long) coach ride was not very good. This was specifically billed as an English-speaking tour, but our guide’s English was very accented and hard to understand - she was also very soft-spoken, so hard to hear over the bus noise. The tour was about 1/3 to 1/2 Spanish speakers and the rest English speakers. This resulted in a very tedious and difficult ride as every piece of information was given in two languages. We enjoyed the city, but would have preferred more time to explore on our own. The bus ride (about 3 hours each way), consumed most of the day. Lunch took up any free time. The “comfort stop” on the way there was excellent - large shop, clean WCs, and room for the group. On the way back, it was a small, dirty gas station with no real amenities. Ugh.

It’s a long day on the bus, bring a book. But the city center of Brugge is neat and the guided tour gives a fair amount of information. Oscar was great.

Beautiful destination. Bus was clean and comfortable. (Not fir superficial travelers. To get the most out of the experience, a person must be responsible for having some basic knowledge of history.)

Skip this tour - No restrooms, bus arrived late

Douglas_H, Apr 2026
Trip was to leave at 8:30. We got there about 8:15. There was no sign saying where to stand when we got to the meeting point. No guide. No restrooms. Guide arrived around 8:30. She was very soft spoken. She did not make an announcement that she was the guide. There was another trip to Bruges leaving at 9:00 with a different company. No one knew where to go. The other company bus got there before our bus. Our bus didn't arrive until 8:45'ish. Only after getting on the bus were we told we couldn't eat anything and that there was no bathroom!!! How can you use a bus without a bathroom for a 3 hour trip?? People paid for this trip and should have been told in advance when booking that the bus would not have a bathroom. Plus, there was no bathroom at the meeting point for the bus. They had planned on a half hour rest stop 2 hours into the trip. That became longer because of traffic. There was a woman who really needed to use the facilities when we got there. Upon arriving at Bruges we had less time there since the bus was late and we were delayed with traffic. During the tour the guide reminded us not to drink too much because there was no bathroom on the bus. She laughed saying it but it was not funny. ON the trip home the rest stop was at a NASTY gas station. My wife and I wouldn't use it. Other people were saying it was BAD! What kind of tour company stops at a gas station and makes their PAYING clients stand in line to use the dirty facilities. The guide tried her best. However, she was so soft spoken it was hard to understand her. The bus driver didn't even acknowledge us until we were getting off the bus and he was hoping for a tip. (Which they didn't get). My tip is not to book this tour. I would give zero stars if I could.

Fairytale town in one day

RIMMA_S, Apr 2026
One day is not enough. It's so beautiful, you don't want to leave. drive from Amsterdam is more than 3 hours. Guided tour is about 1,5 hour and then you may want to get on a boat tour for 30 min. A lot of walking in the beautiful streets and squares. At the end is kind of difficult to find your way back to the bus parking if you do not have GPS.

Beautiful Bruges

Mary_P, Apr 2026
The bus was late leaving be cause the guide was late. The tour guide in Bruges rushed through the tour and was done in less than an hour. She lost the bulk of the group a couple of times until they caught up. But it did give us more time to do a little exploring on our own

The place is beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves. Almond the guide was very sweet however this was her first tour in English so she read some of the info and it was hard to understand. I’m sure with time she will get better. Also the driver was nice as well. Always willing to answer any questions. I was originally going to give it 3 stars because of the language but would have giving it a 5 otherwise.

Worth the Money

Very good informed tour guide. Everything went off without a hitch. The town was really nice and quaint. Just like stepping back in time.

We had an awesome day in Bruges!! My tour guide was Blanca and she was great!! She was very well informed with a great sense of humor! My hat is off to Jose our bus driver who did a great job getting us back and forth!! Thanks to both!!

Loved this trip. And the tour guides were wonderful ! I had Blanca on bus and Sabrina once in Bruges. They were both so very knowledgeable and engaging. Explained everything well and made sure, everyone was taken care of. My only complaint would be.I think there needs to be maybe another hour or so allowed to go along with the free time.. by the time you walk to everything with that part of the tour, and then you have to allow to walk all the way back to the parking area. It doesn't leave much time to visit some of the sites you may want to go inside and eat and shop and walk back in time with just two hours.. I would have loved to have been able to visit the relic in the basilica. But time did not allow. I need it is difficult with time constraints with it being three hours from amsterdam, but is just a suggestion. Tour was wonderful

Long bus ride

Karen_B, Apr 2026
All the listed stops and points of interest is when you arrive in Brugge Bus ride is 4 hours each way with a bathroom break half way Brugge was beautiful If you want to climb the bell tower it would be nice if tickets could be arranged in advance We were unable to go as they were sold out.

Chaotic start, but overall good experience

Anuradha_M, Apr 2026
The experience was overall okay. At the start it was pretty confusing since there was noone to receive us. All the people were hanging around for almost half an hour confused. The driver of the bus was around but he refused to communicate to anyone. At the time when the bus was scheduled to leave he jumped out and started allowing people in suddenly. People were out in tge cold without a clue on which bus was theirs. Not a great start. The guide got into the bus half an hour on the way to bruge. He was the spanish guide it turned out. On the good side, the english guide who joined in bruge for taking us around in bruge was very competent. She took us around and explained the main sights. So overall the tour was good. Be prepared for confusion at the start since there are many different buses at the start point. This tours bus had Buendia written on it.

Enchanting city

Beatriz_L, Apr 2026
We loved our trip to Bruge. The driver, and guides did a great job. Our guide, Anton, was very knowledgeable and funny. Overall the trip was excellent!

Brugge is a beautiful city, the canal boat ride was so good. Gabrielle our tour guide for the bus trip was so informative and helpful plus our driver was excellent

Bruges was lovely - the bus tour guide was not

Jackie_E, Mar 2026
We arrived at the meeting point on time. The bus, driver and guide were there as scheduled. We boarded the bus and the guide gave instructions about how the day would look. After that, she didn't communicate to the English speakers at all, other than to give restroom instructions. The Spanish speakers on the bus carried on a lively conversation with the bus driver and tour guide, with laughing and spirited conversation, while English speakers sat without any updates about where we were, the countryside, or any local information. Upon arriving in Bruges, the English speakers were handed off to another guide, Jares, who did a great job giving history, recommendations, and answering questions. He did carry a very strong accent, so it was difficult to understand him, and he lost several members of our group along the way. He apologized for not having hearing devices, but the driver/tour guide didn't provide them to him. I do not fault him, but it was just difficult to understand him. After free time, we boarded the bus for our trip back to Amsterdam. Neither the bus driver or bus tour guide greeted us or asked if we had enjoyed ourselves. As before, there was no commentary on the drive home in English, but much conversation with the Spanish speakers. We arrived back on time and the tour guide thanked us for coming and told us we could leave a tip as we left the bus. Two stars - they got us to and from Bruges and provided us with an English speaking guide (sort of) upon arrival.

Burgess trip

Holly_S, Mar 2026
It's a wonderful historic village with many interesting shops and restaurants. Historic events like the vikings and other invaders have tried to control the town in the past.

A lovely day in Bruges

Deborah_H, Mar 2026
Our trip started on time with a friendly greeting from our Guide Pia. We set out to Bruges and it was immediately apparent that our driver was experienced and safe. This made the long ride more relaxing. I was immediately impressed with Pia and her ability to give us the highlights in English and then immediately switch to the same information in Spanish. Traveling solo, I was a little nervous but it was so nice to find such a welcoming group of fellow passengers and I didn’t feel like the odd one from the moment I stepped off the bus until returning back to my hotel. The tour in Bruges was fantastic and Pia was so knowledgeable and sharing I learned a lot. I would recommend this tour without hesitation.

A long day

Paul_J, Mar 2026
Honestly I wouldn’t recommend it. The travel to Bruges (3.5 hours) and back (3 hours) was just too much. We enjoyed the one hour guided walking tour, but the next city rules on group size and not stopping at/near popular spots really made it difficult. After the guided tour portion was complete, we were really at a loss at what to do. The city is has some beautiful buildings, but we could have done with a city map of recommendations or a ticket to one of the museums included in the package.

Amazing trip with amazing guides and drivers

Be aware that you will be in the bus for about 7 hours of this tour. Not the operators’ fault - I should have noticed this. Tour guide on bus was ok. Tour guide in Bruges was not qualified. Brugge is lovely.
