Gabriel and driver Maritoñi were excellent! It was a long long loooong drive … but so WORTHY! Bruges is so beautiful and unique that it deserves a visit or stay if you have time! We definitely recommend this tour with Buendia tours they were very organized and friendly. We had an amazing free time to roam around the restaurants and stores and then head back to Amsterdam (driving back was shorter…lol) . It was a nice day in Bruges!

It was the best tour. Highly recommend it. Our tour guide was victor. He is amazing. First we were in bus from Amsterdam to Bruges then in Bruges he showed us everything and explained all places. Then he showed us where to go for a boat tour and where to eat. V had so much fun. One of the best tour. Worth every penny. Easy to come back to meeting point.

We had a fantastic day looking around beautiful Bruges with my siblings. It was a big 10-hour trip but so worth it to walk around this UNESCO World heritage town with cobblestone alleys and picturesque surrounds. Our tour guide Blanca was a great guide, very informative, friendly and patient with all of us. Driver John did a pretty good job we got there safely and back. Highly recommend this tour.

Victor was very knowledgeable and spoke several languages and had great recommendations not only for the day but other days while spending time in amsterdam.
Enjoyable trip !

Our guide Blanca was very nice and informative, both during the tour as well as to and from Bruges. A lot of great suggestions for places to eat in Bruges after the tour and having time to take a canal tour as well.

The day trip to Bruges was wonderful and Gabriel and Maritimio made the experience informative interesting and safe - worth the time to visit this gem of a hideaway especially with Gabriel providing insight and history and Maritonio getting us from place to place safely and without any incident

We did the Bruges tour without a guide in the town. We also picked the option with the boat ride. It was great exploring the town on our own. It gave us time to see things at our own pace and to do shopping. We stopped at a couple of different places to try the Belgian waffle and it was excellent. This would be a must try food. Bruges is a lovely medieval city and worth the three hour drive each way.

Gabriel was very easy to listen to as he gave us facts and information about Bruges and Amsterdam. Raul was on time and safe as a driver. The town was very touristy but has lots of beautiful old buildings.

Day trip to Bruges with our driver Jose and guide Gabrielle. Had a great day with Gabrielle walking us around the town. His knowledge of the town, the region and its history was amazing and was delivered in a totally professional manner. Would highly recommend this tour company.

Viator wouldn't connect me with the tour operator to get instructions on where I needed to go to meet the group. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused. I asked for my money back as the tour operator left me and it was declined. I just submitted a report to the BBB to get my money back. I've been a loyal customer to Viator for YEARS. Not anymore..

Even though this was a three hour bus ride that left at 8:30 in the morning, there was no eating a drinking anything besides tea or water on the bus. This was never disclosed in the trip information. We had planned to eat a quick breakfast on the bus on the way to Brugges, but we could not do that. This seems like a bad rule for this long of a bus trip, and we were disappointed.

I absolutely loved Bruges itself—beautiful canals, charming architecture, and a wonderful atmosphere. The driver, Maritoñi, was also excellent and made the transport part of the experience pleasant.
Unfortunately, the tour guide, Blanca, kind of spoiled the day for me. She behaved more like an elementary school teacher than a professional adult tour guide. She repeatedly called the group “family” and “familia,” which felt forced and condescending. Instead of simply counting heads like every other tour I’ve taken, she insisted on “calling the list” name by name, expecting everyone to answer as if we were in school.
The seating situation was particularly frustrating. She refused to allow any seat changes on the bus and forced passengers to return to their exact original seats—even when two people had already agreed between themselves to swap. That level of rigid control was unnecessary and unpleasant.
While her English is fluent, it comes with a very thick accent. Overall, I would never want Blanca as a tour guide again. The destination was lovely and the driver was good, but the guide experience was one I have no interest in repeating. Would have liked that the air conditioner was colder.

Beautiful city. Tour guides were knowledgable and friendly but they need some kind of microphone when off the buses. They were difficult to hear in many places within the city.
Kylie_D, Jul 2026
Easy charter bus ride that was air conditioned to/from Bruges. No bathroom on the bus, but there’s a stop at a gas station halfway both directions. The tour wasn’t our favorite, and the guide was hard to understand, so my friends and I decided to leave after the first 30 mins of the guided tour and see Bruges on our own and met back up with the crew on the bus back. Please note that this is a walking tour and streets in Bruges are rugged. Multiple people in our group were not able to keep pace with the guide causing us to make frequent stops & wasting time. You only get 2 hours of free time on this tour if you do the guided portion, so we bailed. Additionally, no food was included/provided with the ticket and there was no eating allowed on the bus. By the time we left the tour early, it was almost 2pm. We were starving! Gas station did not have many food options either, and for the 8:30 start, something more substantial should be at least offered. Water bottles provided by the tour company were also a euro each which was a little disappointing considering how much we paid for the ticket. Idk, Bruges was incredible, but we could have taken a train there and back instead and would have had a better experience in my opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beauty of Bruges. We’re sorry that some aspects of the tour did not meet your expectations. Food is not included in the activity, and as indicated in the description, eating on the bus is not permitted to keep it clean and comfortable for all guests. We appreciate your comments and will use them to continue improving our service. 😊

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip, as it was an incredibly pleasant experience. The guide who accompanied us was exceptionally friendly and made the journey even more enjoyable with her warm demeanor and helpfulness.

The tour was excellent. We departed on time, the bus was comfortable with IC, the driver and tour guide were very welcoming and friendly. We spent very good time in gorgeous city Brugge.

Awesome day. Yes the other reviews are right, it is a long time on a bus, but Bruge is an amazing town to visit. Look up the churches there. Can’t miss them. Honestly enjoyed Bruge more than Amsterdam
Adam_K, Jul 2026
Bruges was a beautiful city to explore and try all the delicious food it offers. You get 2 hours of free time but in my opinion that was enough to explore the city center and go into some cafes. I do wish the guide talked a bit more about the city and we could have walked around a bit more. Overall good trip

5 stars—all thanks to Almendra! 🌟
Our trip was absolutely amazing, and Almendra truly made it unforgettable. Her depth of knowledge about Bruges was incredible, but even better was how warm and welcoming she was throughout the tour. If you're visiting Bruges, do yourself a favour and ask for Almendra!

Long day, if you’re not going to be buying and appreciating the Belgian chocolates, not worth the 3.5 hours bus each way. Aside from that, beautiful architecture to see
Becky_P, Jul 2026
Get a map before you leave your guide! It’s a very complex city! Really enjoyed our guide. Thank you for showing us the wonderful city!
Christopher_P, Jul 2026
Overall the experience was fine and the value was worth the price. But there were enough small things to add them that just didn't give it a five-star experience. The guide could have been a better communicator overall. My mom and I were uncertain and confused about the plan when we arrived. We didn't know we weren't getting dropped off in the center. We had to ask to confirm the exact time and place of pickup. The guide could have easily communicated all of that on the bus loudly before we disembarked. And generally, we just didn't feel very checked in on much. Felt very impersonal. Also would have been nice to have proper A/C and wifi on the bus. But like I said, we had a good time and we're thankful for the experience.

We had a lovely experience with Catherine. She was friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. We had a little hiccup with someone being left at the gas station (totally their own fault they didn’t come back in time and the guide had been given different sets of lists from the company). She acted quickly and we picked them up. In response she added more time which I know meant a long day for her and the driver but was really appreciated. She was happy to take photos for anyone who asked which was really appreciated by a few solo travellers.

I booked this tour last minute. The bus location in Amsterdam was easy to find and in walking distance from my hotel. The motor coach was comfortable they made a stop so everyone could use the restroom and grab a snack. Bruges is a magical place. I would recommend if any of my friends or family were coming into Amsterdam to take a day trip over to Bruges.
Gillian_M, Jul 2026
The trip was great. Brugee is so beautiful. Catherine our guide was so helpful and kind. Catherine arranged a meeting point for the group to walk back to the bus together so we didnt get confused in ths narrow streets.

We enjoyed this day trip from Amsterdam. Would recommend. I had been to Amsterdam several times before so wanted to do something different this trip and this was perfect. Bruges was very picturesque, the "Venice of the North" with its beautiful canals, bridges, & cobblestone lanes. We loved this charming fairy-tale town. Our tour guide Blanca was fun & informative and we had a great day with her, with informative stories both on the bus and in town. Although the walking tour part was a bit rushed as she wanted to give us a full 2 hrs of free time. On our own, we had time for a lovely lunch at an outdoor Cafe and walked around a little bit, went inside the Basilica and bought some chocolate, but the 2hrs went by fast because it was a 30 min walk back to bus from the old town part so only really had 1.5 hrs (Due to UNESCO protected cobblestones, the large tour buses have to park outside of town and you have to walk back on your own to the bus after your free time but it was easy to find our way back using Google Maps). So we didn't have time for a canal cruise or to climb the Belfry tower but then again we chose to use our free time for lunch. The instructions of when and where to meet were very clear though, so no issues there. All and all, it was a pleasant day and I have no regrets for picking this excursion.

The guides were lovely it was an amazing day. Bruges was like going back in time. Be prepared for a long day.

Katherine and maritoni were the most amazing tour guides. Our driver (Maritoni) was funny and kept our drive light and joked around. Katherine was very knowledgeable and provided insights throughout the whole tour that I could have not being able to do on my own. She provided the best lunch recommendations and chocolate stores. She truly is a gem. Thank you for all you did

It was an incredible experience! I loved Bruges, our guide Catherine and our driver made the diffference too. Catherine was savy plus she shared great tips which allowed me to enjoy my trip even more.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you had an incredible experience in Bruges and that Catherine, along with our driver, helped make your trip so special. It's great to know her tips and guidance enhanced your visit. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again on another memorable tour soon!

Bruges is touristy but beautiful, a well preserved medieval town with an interesting history. It’s well worth visiting. The bus is very uncomfortable: economy-class airline seats seem spacious by comparison. Our tour was mixed Spanish and English, and our guide’s English fluency was sub-optimal.
