Top Zakynthos Day Trips

Great experience. Be prepared to spend all day touring the island. We did wine tasting, swam to caves, beaches, and much more. Phillipe was a great tour guide and is very knowledgeable about the island. Would totally recommend. I think I got more than my moneys worth.

I had such a great experience- learned so much and had so much fun, I felt like a kid again 🥰 and the turtle and bowl I made are so cute - they will be displayed in my home! I recommend this class for everyone, all ages and gender!! I will be taking this class again the next time I visit Zakynthos ❤️

Booking through Viator was the best decision, all thanks to George! He is absolutely godsent. Everything about our excursion was perfect, from the video recording to the swim. We did three different tours during our time in Zakynthos and this was by far our favorite. Our guide, Dina, was the absolute best. She was kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our driver, Bellos, was also great. He was a very safe driver and would always make sure a cold water was waiting for you when returning to the van. The tour showed us the best spots around the island and made you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour and request Dina- she is awesome!

Fantastic trip, although journey on bus over to the port was very long and bumpy, but we were staying in Alykanas which is on the opposite side of the island- the captain showed us turtles and was very helpful - I think the last 40 mins on turtle island wasn’t necessary, overpriced drinks and snacks and very loud music But we saw some beautiful sights and would recommend! The trip was much cheaper than we were quoted for by local agents too!

Set in the lush garden of a local restaurant/market the four hour cooking class seemed like minutes. The second generation restaurateur (Alex) and his English mother, (Mandy) are the yin and yang who make the magic of traditional Greek dishes. Admixed with local culture and Greek history, it was entertaining. Each dish featured the freshest ingredients and simply delectable.

It was well communicated. The company contacted one day before to check about pick up location. Although I requested for no pick up, they still asked and offered free pick up as it's within their vicinity. George the driver was very polite and friendly and provided information about Zakynthos which I still remember after 2 days. Theo another staff explained everything well on the boat. The view was amazing. Although I didn't swim, but it's good wait seeing people swimming freely and happily and feeling awed by the bluest, crystal clean sea at the same time.

This was such a well organised and well communicated experience. They kindly agreed to pick us up from a more convenient location which we really appreciated. Regarding the day tour itself - the tour guid (Memi) was a lovely lady who was so knowledgeable and entertaining. Our group of 10 friends on a hen weekend from the UK, really enjoyed seeing other parts of the island which offered the most breathtaking vistas. We went to Melissani caves which was well worth a visit before heading on to Assos. Although there wasn't a great deal open due to it being the very start of the summer season, we still enjoyed wandering through the village around the harbour, photographing many of the gorgeous colourful houses with their flowers and foliage, and trying a slice of baklava and a tiramisu iced coffee from a delightful bakery / cafe. By the time we got to Fiskardo, we had just about enough time to grab a quick lunch from Roulas Grill House where the service was superb and the food was fresh and delicious. We took a different route back to where we were staying Skala so we got to see and learn even more about this beautiful island and stopped to view the stunning turquoise water at Myrtos beach . All in all, I'd thoroughly recommend this trip which was such good value for money and if you get Memi as your guide then you will learn so much too. It was a wonderful way to spend the day. We just wish we could have spent more time at each place and didn't have to leave for the grey skies of London so soon!
