Top Zakynthos Day Trips

We'd been to Olympia in the past and wanted to see a new area. George was a fantastic guide. We booked the Killini tour with Chlemouste castle. He then customized our tour based on what we wanted to include, omit, and add. He knew the area very well, gave us lots of interesting and fun facts, was extremely personable, funny, easy going, and sincerely enjoys spending time with his clients. We enjoyed all the stops along our full 5-hour tour. I hadn't properly planned the pickup time and our ship didn't dock until noon. George was so flexible and kind about flexing to an afternoon tour. We even invited him to give us a call next year when he visits the US. We'd love to see him again and maybe show him around our home town.

This was such a well organised and well communicated experience. They kindly agreed to pick us up from a more convenient location which we really appreciated. Regarding the day tour itself - the tour guid (Memi) was a lovely lady who was so knowledgeable and entertaining. Our group of 10 friends on a hen weekend from the UK, really enjoyed seeing other parts of the island which offered the most breathtaking vistas. We went to Melissani caves which was well worth a visit before heading on to Assos. Although there wasn't a great deal open due to it being the very start of the summer season, we still enjoyed wandering through the village around the harbour, photographing many of the gorgeous colourful houses with their flowers and foliage, and trying a slice of baklava and a tiramisu iced coffee from a delightful bakery / cafe. By the time we got to Fiskardo, we had just about enough time to grab a quick lunch from Roulas Grill House where the service was superb and the food was fresh and delicious. We took a different route back to where we were staying Skala so we got to see and learn even more about this beautiful island and stopped to view the stunning turquoise water at Myrtos beach . All in all, I'd thoroughly recommend this trip which was such good value for money and if you get Memi as your guide then you will learn so much too. It was a wonderful way to spend the day. We just wish we could have spent more time at each place and didn't have to leave for the grey skies of London so soon!

Amazing day out the ladie is soo talented her artwork is amazing. Taught how to make and paint a turtle and bowl, 2 ladies in our group also made it a amazing day. Husband even enjoyed it def highly recommend very chilled in her beautiful garden with bread, tomatos and homemade olive oil after. Great experience.

We went on this tour last year in May. The day before this tour we went on a tour with Nikos to Marathonisi and Cameo island. The day after that tour we booked this one. To our surprise he picked us up again for this tour! We were with a very small group, probably because it was off season. Nikos had brought his new drone. Together we figured out how to take pictures with it. That was very cool! We visited fantastic view points and got to choose a few extra stops to see on the way. We had a very relaxed and fun day! We felt like we had seen every special spot on the island. This tour is totally worth your time and money. We learned so much about Zakynthos Thank you to Nikos for the fun days!

We REALLY enjoyed this tour! The olive mill tour was great. Local family that was very kind and informative. We love to cook and appreciated the process and quality of their product and we purchased many bottles. That said, the highlight was our driver, Andreas!!! He was very kind, hospitable and flexible with our schedule. The peace of mind knowing we had reliable transportation to/from our cruise terminal made this tour worth every penny. The end of our tour was at a local restaurant for lunch and it was the best food we’ve had in Greece. We would recommend this tour to everyone!

George was amazing from start to finish. We did a combination of water and land activity and he went above and beyond in all aspects. I get sea and carsick and he came fully prepared with all medecines and was very accommodating; he also custom planned our trip so I could see everything we wanted including a variation of lookout points, and boat tour of the Blue Caves, and Turtle island. He has every supply you can think of and has all the local knowledge of restaurants and places to visit that you will need! He even treated us to various snacks and drinks throughout the day. I highly recommend George and his services. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Mandy and Alex did a fabulous job with this activity. Delivering from the heart, they made it engaging, interactive, interesting, historical, and delicious! They also went above and beyond to accommodate my allergies and I was able to taste everything with separate portions that accommodated me. Just fabulous! highly recommend.

Ramos was fantastic. The places he took us spectacular. We didn’t book through the cruise line. So when we disembarked it was difficult to get a taxi, because the tour with Ramos Boats is 26-30 minutes from port, different side of the island. But this tour was worth it and Ramos took us back to port where our ship was. He also gave us a great recommendation for dinner. I would highly recommend his tour.
