Recommended Tour
Great way to explore the history and tastes of this fascinating part of Toronto. Audrey knows the area really well having lived and worked there for many years so took us through back alleys to places you might not find on your own and to quality eateries you might pass by. Lots to eat and not a long walk as the area is quite compact. Loved every minute of it.

On the fence? Do it! Trust me!
One of THE BEST tours of any kind we have taken. We want to take his other tour too! Personable guide, felt like a friend immediately! Highly recommend! Great food options i normally would never try and so glad we did! 100 stars outta 10! On the fence? Do it! Trust me a natural born skeptic.

Wonderful to experience Kensington from a local
This is my second time, taking the tour with guest in from out of town. I was thrilled when Ochile was our tour guide again. She really brings an authentic, knowledgeable perspective on Kensington market.

Cultural Food Tour
This tour is a great way to get immersed in the diverse history and food of Kensington Market neighborhood. We sampled food we would not normally get a chance to taste. Jessup was a great tour guide and passionate about shared food experiences and its ability to bring people together.

Worth it
Fantastic experience in a culturally diverse neighborhood in Toronto. We got to try a variety of different foods all while walking through the streets of this lovely neighborhood. 100% recommend booking this food tour.

A Good Guide Means Everything
Expert tour guide Kieran was totally responsible for making this very average content tour enjoyable and interesting. The content: Kensington Market... actually a scruffy row of rundown shops and not any sort of actual "market" is eminently skippable -- especially if you've already been to the far better St. Lawrence Market. And Chinatown... a neighborhood that essentially covers the same territory, but with Chinese signage and a few murals is also a miss.
If you've traveled worldwide as much as I have and seen vibrant local markets and cultural enclaves, then you'll likely be underwhelmed by what Toronto has on offer. Both Kensington Market and Chinatown are meager, mostly decrepit and potentially threatening if wandering around alone. Fortunately, Kieran was there as my guide. He took some sorry scraps and wove them into a rich, embroidered fabric. Thank you, Kieran

This is a must experience tour
This was amazing and fun experience. Odd to say that our tour guide made the difference between this being a great tour and an amazing, must-not miss tour. Jessup is an outstanding ambassador for Canada, Toronto and especially Kensington Market. Great food choices and wonderful facts about the neighborhood. We had an amazing tour.

When to visit

Kensington Market is a must for foodies, bargain-hunters, and people-watchers.
Bring cash. While many vendors accept credit cards, not all do, and there is often an extra charge for purchases under a certain amount.
Try your hand at haggling. Not all vendors’ prices are fixed.
