And outstanding educational experience on the history of Bucharest.
For anyone who doesn’t know the history of Bucharest during World War II and before this is the most informative and educational experience I’ve had. Our guide Laura is extremely knowledgeable the history and included great details that we do not see in history books. It’s a great opportunity that should not be missed!

Excellent tour
Christina met us on time and accompanied us for the rest of the morning as we visited many noteworthy sites. She was extremely knowledgeable, had some interesting anecdotes, and responded to all our questions, both about ancient and modern Romanian history and events. Well worth the time!

Great tour and guide
Stefan provided a very interesting tour. We learned about the history of Romania and Bucharest, as well as seeing many notable sights. We found him friendly and funny. He constantly checked we were happy with the pace and if we had questions. The tour was not onerous. He left is with good tips on local food and where to find it. We would highly recommend.

The Perfect Introduction to Bucharest!
We had an amazing experience with Laura and we were lucky enough to have a private tour! As a historian, I found her tour to be the perfect introduction to the city's layers—from the Monarchy and the WWII years to the Communist era and the 1989 Revolution.
Laura is incredibly friendly and welcoming. She focused on the 'must-see' landmarks and gave us a great sense of the city’s history and architecture without being tiring or overly dense. We saw everything from the Athenaeum and Revolution Square to the Parliament and the hidden moved churches, finishing in the Old City. It’s the ideal way to get your bearings and understand Bucharest's soul in a relaxed but professional way. Highly recommended!

Great Introduction to Bucharest History
Stephanie was our Guide & we were very fortunate that she was also accompanied by Julian who was shadowing her that day.
Stephanie & Julian's local knoweldge reminded us that conflict in Bucharest was not confined to the two world wars; there was conflict as recent as 1989 & Julian was able to recount to us what life was like day to day during that time.
Stephanie also took us around the old town & was very knowledgeable & engaging.
Both recommended various other places & restaurants that we should try & Julian's recommendation that we should try Romanian wine was absolutely spot on!!
We would certainly recommend the tour
