Must try! I had such a wonderful time river tubing with my friends. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys a mix of peaceful moments, a little bit of chaos and adventure. Floating through the rainforest was beautiful and calming, while some parts were exciting enough to keep things interesting. Such a fun and memorable experience surrounded by nature :)

A wonderful experience ✨
Ash our tour guide was wonderful. So funny, knowledgeable, and passionate. He really made the whole excursion (including the bus rides) so much fun.
Every place we visited was beautiful (the swim in the rainforest eas my favourite). We even got to stop for ice cream on the way home.
A wonderful experience ✨

Fantastic Family Holiday Activity
We had such an amazing time on this tour! We booked it as part of our family holiday to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip.
Our two teenagers even said it was the best holiday activity we’ve ever done, which is a pretty big call!
A huge thank you to our guides Greta, Jeremy and Sebastian — you were all fantastic and made the experience so much fun.
A special mention to Jeremy, our driver, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and had such a great attitude and sense of humour. He made the whole experience even more enjoyable and is a real asset to the company.
And another special mention to Greta, who was doing her very first tour and did an incredible job! She was professional, friendly and clearly passionate about what she was doing. We learnt so much about the local fruit and the Daintree that we had no idea about before. You absolutely nailed it, Greta!
We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for something fun, exciting and a little different to do while on holiday. It was fantastic for the whole family — and if you have teenagers, they will LOVE it!!!!
Thanks again to the whole team for such a memorable experience and for giving us some great family memories!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely unforgettable waterfall tour!
We had the most incredible day exploring Far North Queensland’s breathtaking waterfalls with our wonderful tour guide, Cheryl. Every waterfall we visited was absolutely spectacular — and being able to safely swim in these beautiful freshwater swimming holes while knowing we were in croc country made the experience even more special!
Cheryl was an exceptional host — warm, knowledgeable, professional and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty, stories and history of Country. Her Aboriginal history and cultural knowledge shared throughout the drive added such a meaningful layer to the experience and made the journey between the waterfalls just as fascinating as the destinations themselves.
A special highlight was meeting Alan a QLD Murray, who was incredibly knowledgeable about his Country and its history. Hearing these stories from people with genuine connection to Country was something we really valued.
The lunch was another highlight — absolutely delicious, generous and plentiful, with seconds and even thirds available! And to top it off, the lunch venue had its own waterfall, which was such a beautiful surprise.
I also really appreciated seeing the tour company supporting a local, authentic Aboriginal business. Supporting local communities and Aboriginal businesses while experiencing Country in such a respectful and authentic way makes a huge difference.
The whole tour was professional, well organised, informative, fun and incredibly memorable. I honestly could not fault it.
If you’re visiting Far North Queensland and want to experience some of the region’s most beautiful waterfalls while learning about the Country, its history and culture, I couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough. 🌿💦❤️
Thank you, Cheryl, for an amazing day — we’ll be talking about this experience for a very long time!

Hartleys
I was glad I was able to book this morning for the afternoon tour. I was amazed the whole thing went without any problem. We were picked up at the right place at exactly the time it was quoted. The driver/guide was humorous and wonderful and arrived at Hartleys almost 30 minutes the usual time that gave us a lot more time too see two shows, boat tour and also see all the trails and all the animals.

Good Single Day Option
I think this experience is the best you can ask for with only a single day's worth of time. Our guide, Luke, was so enthusiastic about each spot we visited, the wildlife, and the history. We had the chance to visit & swim at Mossman Gorge, take a crocodile spotting boat ride down the river, take a walk through a section of the Daintree Rainforest, and walk on the beach of Cape Tribulation. Each stop was very quick and a little hurried, but like I said that was expected with only a 1 day trip. The time in between was usually filled with Luke sharing some fun facts.
My advice:
If your schedule allows, try to stay in the Daintree overnight to get a more in depth look. Bring a rain jacket with you if rain is forecasted! Get the 4 flavor signature cup of ice cream at the Daintree Ice Cream stop. I didn't think I was going to like the flavors, but turns out it was the BEST ice cream I've had in my entire 1 month trip up the East coast of Australia. Bring a change of dry clothes if you plan to swim at Mossman (you should). The quick schedule won't allow you time to dry.

As a Cairns local of 25 years now this is the best crocodile experience I've taken visitors on. So nice to see them in their wild habitat. Love the quiet clean electric boat and David the tour operator is obviously passionate and knowledgable on his subject. Also good value in comparison to other offerings.

We had such a great experience! The entire crew was so friendly and helpful every step of the way. When my mom got a little panicked after first getting in the water, Katie, one of the marine biologists, was amazing—she calmed her down, stayed with her, and guided her until she felt comfortable. It made such a difference! Beautiful snorkeling and an even better crew. Highly recommend!

Exceptional Day Out
We were two couples in 50s. Some had snorkelled elsewhere recently and some not/never. Our experience was exceptional from booking to pre-sail advice about what to take, to leaving on time, to just a truly memorable day. Three sites were different but by far our favorite was the second snorkel site of Turtle Island. Vibrant coral and wide variety of fish. 🐠 Personally I thought better than Fiji islands. The crew were friendly and slick. Everything ran like clockwork and instructions were clear and timely. The buffet lunch was yummy and plentiful, as were the snacks/tea/coffee. Liked the fact there were only 80 people on the SilverSonic and that no ladders were required for getting out of the water. . The unexpected Manta Ray show on the way back to PD just topped off a wonderful day. Well done to the entire SS team.

Once in a lifetime but be prepared if you get motion sick
A fantastic way to get out to snorkel at the Great Barrier Reed. You’re on a huge boat with other travelers and have the chance to see the coral and fish whether by snorkel or semi-submersible. A lovely lunch, Lycra suits, snorkels, find are provided. We paid extra for the advanced (longer) 1 hour snorkelling with a marine biologist. My 10 year old and i were nervous in the waves and Ellie was great in guiding us and providing that individual attention while Glen the marine biologist took the rest of our group out to see more (turtles!). Do note: if you get motion sick, get Rx medication and still be prepared to vomit, as many people did. Each way to and from the pontoon is 2 hours. Sit in the back outside if you tend to prevent motion sickness and don’t choose to do the submarine ride. The Crew were all so nice and friendly, looking after everyone. It was well organized. You can choose a helicopter back instead of the ship but it’s an extra fee. Communication before the activity was also good.

Incredible day at the reef with Sailaway!
What an incredible day on the reef. Courtney, Mick and the rest of the crew were incredible - it was a beautiful day, the sailing was smooth. the corals and marine life were absolutely incredible. The crew took great care to ensure you have everything you need and the boat is excellent. It was a top notch experience and totally worthwhile.

Gold Class All the Way!
The skyrail was a lot of fun and we met interesting people in our car. The views were spectacular! The town of Kaunda was nice and we had a great time at their zoo (an optional, additional expense). There were some nice shops all over town. Unfortunately, our visit was on a Tuesday, when many of the shops, especially those making hand crafts, were closed. The train ride home in Gold Class was exceptional! We sat in big comfy chairs and were served food and wine/beer all included! Our friends who didn’t book gold class, sat on benches in train cars with a water cooler! Our posh ride home was the perfect end to a great day!
