Good tour, Braga & Guimaraes are nice places to visit. Our tour guide Maria was Excellent, very informative, jovial & spoke in fluent English. The Driver John was very good with safe driving. Be careful on the meeting point address & re-confirm the same. Viator had given us a wrong meeting point address. The local Activity Provider called us & was kind enough to delay the start of the tour & pick us up from a different location.

Miguel is a great guide - bilingual, engaging, excellent knowledge of Portuguese history and attentive to everyone’s needs. Small group tour with an excellent, traditional Portuguese lunch included in a restaurant where the local Portuguese eat (we eat vegan and Miguel made sure that even vegan food was available). We certainly recommend this tour of Braga and Guimarães.

Fascinating tour

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the two cities. He also knew much of the religious history of greater Europe that influenced Portugal at that time. It enhanced our understanding of the country. The tour ran over time but was very interesting. We had sufficient time at each stop. Our guide even helped a guest who needed assistance on steep surfaces. One note: lunch was thin beef or whole fish with head. Beef was very tough. Others said fish was tasty.

Great day in Braga and Guimaraes

We had such a great day seeing Guimaraes and Braga. Both cities were very interesting and beautiful. After coming from a few days in Porto it was nice not having such steep inclines to walk. Ricardo was our guide and he was very knowledgeable, informative and patient as we tend to wonder off a bit. He has a good sense of humor and is very personable. We learned a lot about Portugal and got a good history base to build on.
