Paris Opera House
This is a very good tour. Our guide, Emilie, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She gave us the history of the Opera House and little trivia tidbits. She really knows her stuff! I think we could have stayed longer but the building was closing. Emilie took into account that one of our group had a difficult time with stairs so she made sure we took the elevator.

Mauritzio is a wonderful guide!
We were so lucky to have Mauritzio as our tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and presents art and architectural history in a fast-paced and humorous manner. Two hours flew by. I’m so glad we had him to guide us so we could more fully experience this incredible landmark!

Unbelievable Opera House Tour
Our tour was amazing and the gentleman who showed us through the opera house was super knowledgeable, energetic, and a lot of fun to be around. He told us stories and pointed out things we would’ve never seen or understood without him with us and I would recommend that anyone who reads this sign up for this tour.

Review of tour.
She was very good, extensive knowledge, and wanted to share. This has nothing to do with your guide, but not sure why I had to enter at least 100 characters on a review.

  • The on-site restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; the bar inside the theater sells drinks before performances and during intermissions.

  • Operas are usually performed in their original language, with French (and sometimes English) supertitles.

  • While no official dress code is enforced for regular performances, most operagoers dress smartly. For special gala events, attendees wear more formal attire.
