The Taste of Paris tour...
The Taste of Paris tour is a delightful stroll through Montmartre with easy ascends to the various establishments where we stopped to savor renowned foods of Paris, against the ambiance of a renowned neighborhood.

The guide was wonderful....
The guide was wonderful. I really appreciated her knowledge of the area. I rated it four stars because I wish the tour would have covered more well-known sites in the neighborhood rather than more obscure or everyday places. It’s very much a tour for people who already know Montmartre rather than those seeing it for the first time.

Montmartre Food Tour
Great walking tour to see the Montmartre area and to learn about classic French food. Our guide Aude did an excellent job and stops to taste local food were well planned. Would recommend highly.

Up, up to Sacre Coeur
Lots of steps up to Sacre Coeur, or take the funicular for a partial break, our guide Frank gave us plenty of history of the Montmartre area on cool rainy afternoon. We first had trouble locating him at the meeting place, but a quick phone call and we were on our way. Try to go other than summer as it was crowded even in May.

Good overview
This was a good overview of Montmartre. Our guide was lovely. However, I felt a little more information and suggestions could have been provided in the timeframe we had. It’s a great way to get your bearings and explore further afterwards.

Montmartre walking tour
We loved our tour with Max! He shared so many wonderful stories about the neighborhood and helped us understand why this neighborhood was and still is so important for the artists community. We weaved our way through the little streets and ended at the top of the hill with a wonderful view of all of Paris. Max was professional, honest and funny! We had a really great morning with him. I highly recommend booking a tour with Max.

Lots of stops, yummy treats but overpriced
Loy of stops which were good but mostly all small treats and sweets. Only 1/2 of sandwich and cheese platter which we felt although delicious was nit substantial enough for a tour that was supposed to be 4-730pm. We anticipated more filling choices esp for the price. Unfortunately we felt the trip was overpriced and should have been less expensive and maybe just a dessert early

When to visit

Montmartre is a popular part of Paris, so be prepared for crowds in the busy summer season.
The neighborhood is a must-see for art history buffs and those looking for postcard views.
Wear comfortable walking shoes for the many stairs and cobbled streets.
Montmartre is not easily accessible for wheelchair users, thanks to raised curbs and cobblestone sidewalks.
If you’re interested in art or gardens, allow for time to visit the Musée de Montmartre.
Watch out for pickpockets, and don’t let the people walking around and selling things illegally distract you.
