Cultural experience
What a great cultural experience. Thanks to Ahmed who took the time to explain all of the historical context around Nizwa and he also showed us where to buy the best Halwa in the place. A wonderful experience
A highly recommended tour for first-time visitors to Oman — perfect if you want a mix of culture, history, and natural beauty in one full day. Fawzi, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. He gave us ample time and explanations for every stop we made.

Great mountain day for our family
Absolutely fantastic experience with Yousef. My family thoroughly enjoyed the Nizwa Souq, exploring the Bannana Oasis, and the magnificent mountain views. We definitely recommend this tour for all families and those interested in visiting some of the Oman mountain highlights near Muscat.

Wonderful experience!
This was a wonderful day trip from Muscat! I specifically wanted to go to the Rose fields and see how traditional rose water was made, and this tour made it personalized and did so. My guide for the day was phenomenal and was kind to have me try local foods and explain the origin. He knew the history of the Nizwa Fort and the Jebel Akhdar region very well which made the experience enriching. Great, safe, clean and reliable car. I would highly recommend doing this day trip!

Jebel Akhdar
  • Jebel Akhdar draws nature-lovers, photographers, walkers, and anyone curious about old-time Oman.
  • While the region is cooler than Oman’s lowlands, the sun is still fierce: bring sunscreen and hats.
  • If you’re here to hike, wear sturdy walking shoes and carry water.
  • Opt for guided tours for minimum hassle: Oman’s mountain roads are challenging and only 4WDs can drive up to the Saiq Plateau.
