Try a private desert tour
The tour operator kindly offered an option to start our hotel a bit later at 10:30 am to see the sunset in the dunes. The driver/guide was so kind, thoughtful and organised that he chose the best position and timing to enjoy the wadi canyon and the sunset driving in the dunes. He explained Omani and Islamic culture along the way and gave us time to break and rest from time to time on the way.

Dunes and nice views
I had an amazing experience with the star tours guide Badar al hasni. He was patient, professional, and he tried his best to make the tour accessible for me. He took me to hard-to-reach places, helped me with photos, and made me feel safe with good driving. Tour is highly recommended to see highlights

Terrific day of: Desert, Wadi, Historic towns
A whistle stop of several unique places near Muscat that create an unforgettable day with a knowledgeable guide. In addition to the desert (which our guide drove through with ease) and Wadi (beautiful waters), we visited a 400 year old town. Thank you Abdul! ☺️

Wadi Shab was wonderful. Requires some physical activity and swimming ability.

Amazing experience
Amazing experience! Salim was so friendly, welcoming, tour was really authentic experience. We had around 1h long camel ride. Before that, we chilled in the Bedouin camp having tea and dates, hearing nice stories about Bedouin way of life and great hospitality

A best of both worlds
It was an incredible day exploring two different worlds of Oman: Wadi Bin Khalid and Wahiba Sands. Wadi Bani Khalid was beautiful with clear refreshing pools. We had a good amount of time to relax, explore the inside of a small cave, and have free fish spa. Wahiba Sands was an absolute highlight with its vast golden dunes which are breathtaking. We had the opportunity to enjoy coffee and dates in a Bedouin tent, ride a camel, ride the sand dunes, and watch a desert sunset. Our guide, Khalfan, was friendly, informative, and always sharing interesting stories about the area. He was not only our guide but our photographer as well. He gave us ample time in each place and we indeed enjoyed our time with him today. It was a lomg ride from Muscat but very worth it. Thank you and Kudos!!!

Amazing Oman trip
It was amazing trip. All went smoothly .We had a lot of stops to enjoy and explore Oman at its max possible. Visit at Wadi Shab was very hard to do ,but with a little preparation, help from our (incredible) guide it worth every second spend there. Dessert sunset and sunrise can not be explained -it was once in a life time experience. Highly recomend Sunshine tours and their representative and our guide for 2 days Mohammed Nabhani.

It would be best to have...
It would be best to have a pick up truck. But it is not a very big problem because they can send location and come pick you at an accessible point. Abdullah Haza our guide was very kind. Offered us coffee and dates.

I went with my sister on...
I went with my sister on this one and it was amazing. The guide was great and we engaged in a lot of conversations about the history and culture. The desert is amazing and the Wadi was a nice hike. The guide was very helpful and even stopped when we wanted to for ice cream and some local food he wanted to introduce us to. 10/10. They also picked us off and returned us to our hotel. All in all it was the highlight of our Oman trip
