You will be able to experience the Christmas atmosphere and step across the Arctic Circle. Also, you will have the chance to visit Snowman world which features the spectacular Ice World with nice snow fun activities. Snowman world is open from 6th of December until 17th of March, the visit is subject to weather conditions. Welcome to our Snowshoeing tour in the most beautiful National Park in Lapland! We will go where the snow is deepest and try to stay off the beaten path. This way we will get to experience the calm nature, beautiful Lapland landscapes and the real purpose of snowshoes. We will end our tour on a small barbeque at a campfire with some hot drinks and sausages. The tour will start by our guide picking you up from your accommodation in Levi area. We will then drive approximately 45 minutes on a private 4x4 truck to the National Park. We will hike in the deep snow for approximately 30-90 minutes depending on your group preferences. We can also save some time for sledging/playing in the snow if your group wants. After that, we will have a nice small barbeque on a campfire. Then a short walk back to the car and we will head back to your accommodation. All of our tours are private, so we can customize them for your preferences.

On our back-country skiing adventure, we use specialist skis that represent the newest innovation in Finnish wilderness exploration. These skis enable us to move away from known tracks and head directly into the deeper snow. During this journey in nature, we will find a place for us to build a fire and prepare some light snacks on the open fire.

The Lapland Hotels SnowVillage is rebuilt from scratch every year, delighting visitors with a changing theme and stunning ice art. For the upcoming winter season 2024–2025, theme is underwater world, featuring its diverse marine life – from whales to turtles and from seahorses to octopuses. This annual ice exhibition offers an enchanting experience, including snow and ice art, a unique ice bar, a movie theater, and our annual favourite: the ice slide! We will pick you up from your accommodation with our private 4x4 SUV, a rugged off-road vehicle built for safety and reliability for the arctic. The entrance tickets are included in the price for ice exhibition and ice bar. You will have approximately 90 minutes of free time to wander around the SnowVIllage. This should be enough to see everything, and even have some tasty drinks at the ice bar. Our private guide will be available for the entire visit at the Snow Village. You can select at which time you want to go after the booking.
