This was an amazing experience. Vincenzo was such a great host. He was very personable and made us feel right at home. His love for cooking was quickly passed on to us. Good fun, a taste of adventure and beautiful scenery.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The water can get a little choppy, I thought it all part of the fun - but if you’re a nervous swimmer you might get anxious. However, our guide instilled confidence and the kayaks are very stable. The guide Michael (wrong spelling - sorry!) was informative and humorous but low key enough to allow us to enjoy the natural beauty all around. It was wonderful to see the towering cliffs and cloud wreathed mountains from a different angle. Great bit of exercise too!

Worth the expense

First of all, it is 7 hours a long day. Second, the 30 minute tour of Como is standing in the square with the guide talking. (Initially, it was hard to understand her. After this the tour was fantastic. We took an high speed ferry to Varenna and were able to skip the very long lines. Then off to Bellagio where she made a lunch reservation so we didn’t waste time looking for a place to eat. Our guide, Bianca was wonderful. As I said, the tour was very long. The last hour was dedicated to shopping. We were tired and not interested in shopping. We were tempted to just take a ferry back to Como but weren’t sure about how to do it. All in all it was a fantastic tour and worth the money!

Beautiful Day on the Lake

Excellent day on the lake! Our captain was wonderful and informative, telling stories about the villas and villages we passed. The views are incomparable. The day we originally scheduled had a sudden thunderstorm, and the company was very accommodating in moving our sailing to the next day when it was sunny and safe to sail. It was a great experience for us all!

Amazing Experience

Absolutely amazing experience. This is the only review I've written for our two week trip. We did 6 other activities through viator, but I had to leave a review for this one. The lunchtime in Menaggio was absolutely perfect. Making the pasta was fun. We made two different "doughs" and then made a few different types of pasta. Paolo was amazing. He was informative, kind, passionate, and funny. The food tasted amazing as well. We of course ate the pasta we made, but the sauces were also very good! Paulo also came and sat with us towards the end of the lunch and he just talked with us for an hour answering questions and telling stories. This experience was a true Italian experience for us that was relaxing and enjoyable. Honestly, I didn't do this only to learn how to make pasta because I can YouTube that. I did this for the experience, and it was absolutely perfect. This was exactly what we needed and hoped it would be. Just like pictures don't ever do an amazing view justice, words can't do this experience justice, but I tried my best. Thank you Paolo!!

Great overview of Como

This was the perfect way to start our visit to Como. The walking tour gave us the history of the city, the cathedral and the walls around the city. Violetta was a superb tour guide, giving us tips about what to do around the city and surrounding area. Highly recommended! We actually signed up with her for a tour the next day too!
